I feel like I should apologize that this is taking me so long.

I obviously bit off more than I could chew. At least at this time. I didn't realize work would be interfering as much as it has been... I have a coworker who was hospitalized Sunday afternoon and she has been out all week. Another coworker was out on vacation this week, as well, so the rest of us have been working longer shifts... so by the time I have been getting home, well, I've been exhausted...

Add to that my nephew's birthday party which took up most of my late afternoon/evening on Wednesday, and, well, I haven't been nearly as productive as I feel I should have been.

So far I have one piece completed. I hope to get the rest of them done through the weekend, but I'm not sure if that will be doable.

Again, I apologize to everyone. I shouldn't have taken on so much when I didn't legitimately have the time to do so.

So, this assembly line-like system I was using for these, well, I won't be doing that anymore after these are finished. I feel like I'm making everyone wait longer than if I just did one or two or three at a time...

I apologize for not having anything new yesterday or today. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather, and have been abnormally busy at work. (Figures that I'd want to start something new and they'd decide to pile the work on me...)

Anyways, I'm just gonna chill out tonight, and hopefully will get a good amount of time to work on the pics some more this weekend.

So I just came home from work sick...

I'm now back in my jammies with a mug of cocoa, and am about to start the colorin'.

Oh, and just to give everyone an update:

I still haven't started the coloring process.
Friday, as stated, I felt like crap.
Saturday I ended up spending most of my day with my family.
And today, well, I think one of my family members gave me the flu or something yesterday. I'm feeling generally crappy and slept in until into the afternoon hours...

I'm hoping that when my regular work schedule kicks in tomorrow I'll be able to sit down at the end of the day and start coloring.

Another one had to travel out of town.
Another was celebrating her anniversary.
Another's mother was having her birthday party.
Another is pregnant and had appointments to keep this afternoon...

It was just the way the world went for me today...
Some days are like that. I'm resigned to that.
I can't change it, so no point in getting mad at it... But that also doesn't mean I have to like it.

Besides, this means karma will give me an excellent day in the near future. It all balances out.
