At the moment, the troller version of Lingering Rad apparently has a decimal error and does an outrageous -500% regen (compared to -50% for Transfusion).

    I stand corrected then. Since I've only used the controller versions, Transfusion still feels a lot less powerful in terms of -regen than Lingering Rad, even if it's stacking.

    Oh...it is.

    I'm not much of a numbers man tbh but I know how powers work from experience.
    You can spam away transfusion at an AV for a few minutes without denting the regen...and woop...suddenly the AV goes down in a matter of seconds

    LR is far superior since you can tell the effect instantly (more so as its bugged atm).

    Not much warrants 3 slotting for accuracy as 2 accuracy SOs are usually enough...and with Tactics thats basically 4 slotting for accuracy....total overkill.

    If you wish to PvP those are essentials...especially RA. If you dont take it you're just another easy squishy kill for the most part.
    TK is a VERY useful power in PvP and should definately be taken if you wish to take Psi and PvP...otherwise primal is always good for empaths.

    Defender damage isn't very good to begin with unless you have debuffs but if you are gonna take attacks Subdue, Will Domination and Telekinetic Blast are the good ones in the set.

  8. LR is far superior to EM Pulse....you can keep a steady flow of -regen with it because of its relatively fast recharge....slot it...and love it.
  9. It's great fun and I wholeheartedly recommend trying it out.

    Would recommend a single ill/emp on the team though....that basically covers all your weaknesses with stuns and alphastrikes.
  10. Lexce and Carni has said most but here's my 2 inf about the things not covered by them (those 2 always gives sound advice ).

    Attacks: Slot these with 2 acc, 3 dmg and 1 rech...dont mind end reds.
    Dont take RoF....unless you want it to scatter in the Heroes and then turn around and kill you...all it'll do.

    Radiant Aura: You want this to be 3 heal, 3 heal

    Radiation Infection: You don't really "need" the defense debuffs here so if you need slots you could take some from here....doesn't hurt to slot it with defense debuffs tho.

    Health: You have a selfheal...skip this and get hurdle instead.

    It needs to hit...go 2 acc, 3 rech and maybe 1 end red here.

    Enervating Field: Could drop the 3rd end red here....especially seeing you'll have power sink and a kin speed boosting you.

    Assault: Same as EF above.

    Vengeance: The defense buff is the main part here so the 3 other slots arent that needed...guess you could slot for tohit if you really had the slots.

  12. 1 end mod slotted is fine for some builds but absolutely not nearly enough for others. SB should always be at least 2 slotted with end mods preferably 3 slotted with end mods.

    For PvP I would slot it 2 end mod, 2 range, 2 run speed though.

    EDIT: Why would you slot a 2 second recharging power with recharges!?

    Not sure about both but it affects how far away you can use it. 1 range helped quite a bit with pulling mobs

    I would like to know though if you count on specific teammates for it? and if so...what power sets would they have?
  15. Well....even if threadbumping is against the forum rules we always do it if the relevant thread drops from the 1st page in the defiant section so it always stays visible.

    The threads are usually posted about 1-2 weeks in advance as we don't know we wanna do one before then .

    Just hope that more people would actually listen to request and/or take the time read the guide.

    The passed some 8 raids have been great and this has been the 1st where I was really worried we would fail around 15k health left on Hami because of dark miasma powers being used and things like siphon power and earthquake/volcanic gasses creating unnecessary lag.

    I'm sure these powers where used to help but just helped increase the lag unfortunately. I appreciate the effort but hope you will stick with single holds the next time

    From Ice make sure you take Ice bolt, Ice blast, and Bitter Ice Blast (unskippable powers) then I recommend taking Aim, Freeze Ray and Blizzard (nothing in the game feels as good when you fulcrum a nice big mob of freaks BLizzard and you kill them twice as they rez ^^).

    From Kinetics I would take all the powers apart from Repel then also skip IR if you take acrobatics.

    You definately want Stamina ASAP then the rest of pools are up to you

    Generally like the build and very much as I would build one myself but a few things I dont agree with?

    Why the end reds in your attacks and superjump? seeing you have both transference and power sink end shouldnt be a problem at all?

    Not much point in taking health on a squishy as the return is neglible....you'll get much more mileage from the hurdle/swift combo.

    Wouldn't recommend defense buffs in CJ....go with jump enhancements here instead

    Other than that...nice build

    Atm it doesnt look like we can have too many PA droppers and emps seem to be in abundance so hope you will join us with Hibernia...you don't have to switch toons before the holding phase either then
  24. Seeing Hamidon does untyped damage all the defenses and resistances won't make a difference...he'll will cut right through anything you have.

    Basically what Shannon said the only powers you will use are:
    1: Taunt
    2: Unyielding for mez protection
    3: Dull Pain
    4: Hasten
    5: Travelpower

    ...and 2-6 emp defenders/controllers depending on their skill.

    Note that the lownumber raids where done when rad defenders where uber beyond anything.

    Indomitable Will is only availble for controllers.
