It doesn't affect SSK at all; the option to exemplar "the old way" merely means you'll get extra influence instead of XP when exemplared. There IS no option to "not SSK" the team.
It's in the General Options, under Miscellaneous. You can toggle between "Earn XP" and "Double Influence, No XP." -

Helped run the MS raid actually went smoother than expected everyone who was there was at least lvl 35 and the ssk allowed a much easier time of the raid for our raiders. Lots of people like the color purple.
QoL things I have picked up on so far are interesting. Still would like to see water in the bases.

Sorry I missed the raid but at DragonCon. I hope it went well. Nice idea for a guide dealing with SSK, only other thing I would of added was if they don't hospital then kick them.
And as for lowbies in MS raids they are just taking up space IMO. They are not combat viable generally, but it appears that is what the DEV's believe we want. I rather have my lvl 20 start any character button then this, but thats just me.
Since its going to be happening a guide is a good idea.

well apparently I did miss that gem of the SF/TF cause everything I read pointed me to believe that MY lvl 50 could drag his team of 7 wanna be uber lvl 2 cause we did the outbreak after all and they are super side kicked to me so lvl 49 and now we run Dr Q. I guess I missed posi post that that wasn't happening is that what your telling me cause that exactly what I was understanding with everything I read.

Now what would you say about Hami? Hmm same thing and thats a limited amount to even get in that zone. Even sked to 50 your FF defender still only is a 12 and just as squishy remember the sea of orange part of that group. Oh And I love Defenders they make me uber. Asked any of my raiders try to have at least one on each team if we can get them.
It's not like once they get unsked they will be booted from the zone, Now if that part of the features of Super sidekick then fine. Except when the lag causes there mentor to get kicked then zapp they are outta the zone, Hmm why cause that complaint Oh right cause someone thinks they should be there.
I'll say live and let live when they give me the vet reward that allows me to make 50's on COX so I can enjoy all the content my way. Cause thats really what were talking about appeazing the masses.
I'm not aganist sidekicking, even super sidekicking but My blaster with two attacks can't take out a pylon in the STF, My Fender can only offer so much support healing or bubbling in Dr Q TF, Tank Hami etc.
we all have opinions on this subject.

Okay I don't think special merits or zone rewards should be made less special, in the words of Syndrom:
"When everyone is super, then no one will be."
I consider vanguard merit and hazard zones fall in that case. Making it so everyone get everything all the time just allow me to roll up 50's and cut the labor of playing to get to 50 so I can have all the powers I want to run the missions I want, I can just run Oboro content right or hang in Atlas for AE missions.

There's nothing wrong with trying to get a healing badge on an AT other than a "healing" type. It's amusing to do, for one thing. For another, when you've played forever, you have to have SOME type of goal. i've done it with a blaster. So, implying someone is a n00b because they took medicine to get a healing badge is a bit short sighted.

Well having played COH for 5+ years they are going to be in for some trouble at the launch of CO. Since I wasn't allowed to Beta these last two issues, I have spent time betaing CO.
Its a solid game with lots of bugs that people are willing to overlook because of issues like this. Super-Sidekicking while a good and needed idea to replace the 50's thats we're going to lose will really mess up MS raids cause a lvl 10 tank sked to lvl 50 to tank, is still a tank with powers only up to lvl 10, and dog meat to Rikti Magus. Everyone who has ever been on a MS Raid will tell you lose containment and you see a sea of orange bodies, so how long do we carry the dead weight sk thats below the needed lvls to actually help the raid.
If you want to lvl and only play AE then come into the regular pve and not know that an emp defender rez people thats a internal game problem, and I ran into that same problem as I ported our dead tank to me and he used his awaken instead of accepting the rez, and then when I said something he was like oh good to know. I believe everyone would agree this is something he should have already known if he's running missions in bricks. Just saying.
Now with super-sidekicking we will have people in zones who shouldn't be there and its that simple. Before anyone screams but I want to play with my friend, I sidekicked and exempetd my bestfriend in the game at lvl 30 until we were both the same lvl (30) and that was before lvl pacts, AE auto sk's or any of that fancy stuff. So if you want to play with a friend there are ways to do it with out messing with the core game system any further.
Keep Super sidekicking if you want but don't make it so they get access to hazard zones until they reach the min lvls to enter the zone. With great power comes great responsibility and hopefully commonsense.
Just my two cents worth.

PS: I forgot to cry Doom since I am going to be getting negative rep points for speaking the truth IMO and accused of crying doom in the wrong thread. DOH guess thats where the comonsense part of my post would come in. I have to say I do like the v-boards and being able to update post like this.

Powerforge - I'm also self taught in all these compu-graphics stuff and you did a great job on the banner! Also, regarding file size when fading between images - the smoother the blend, the more images required, the bigger the file becomes. At least that's what I found with my trial and error.
The only downside to banners IMO, is that you can never, (or rarely that I've seen), present the full costume it all it's glory. It's either a head or bust shot so it can be fit into a fairly restrictive height.
