On the whole I'd say no. If you think about it, do you really want a highly visible and aggro-happy nutcase following you from mob to mob? It's like trying to sneak up to someone with an errant toddler in tow.

Of course, that's not really an issue, since there's a massive 15 minute recharge time for them all, so you couldn't have them out all the time even if you wanted to.

That said, there's something to be said for having a Night Widow on your team. They're pretty effective in combat and have pool-power stealth, so that's a bonus. Shame I've gone Mu, really.
  2. Don't see that as a huge problem to be honest. Granted, I'm not really up very well on other powerset secondary effects, but the ninja blade -DEF doesn't last more than a second or two. Just hold back for a bit before placating.

That said, I can't say I've seen this before. I'm no PvP master, but every time I placate someone (invariably a scrapper of some kind) it seems to work just fine.
  3. Dear god please no. Not only was the lag nigh unbearable, but the event was a shambles as well. Why? Well the majority of players have both CoH and CoV, and the majority of them had higher-level heroes than villains. As soon as it looked like the villains were loosing, everyone just went to get their heroes instead, and it became ridiculously one-sided. Add to that that Siren's Call couldn't handle the amount of players at once and had to be split into three, that neither Bridger nor The Other One (can't remember his name) were doing much to rally the troops and keep things moving (sorry Bridgey, but it's teh truth) and you get a real mess of an event.

And try to imagine what a Recluse's Victory party would look like. How many more level 50 heroes are there than villains? Got to be at least twice as many. I know the signature heroes/villains help to even things out, but I doubt it'd be nearly enough.

It's a shame, 'cos I dearly want to see more action in RV; no-one's EVER there. Perhaps it'd be better for smaller-scale player-organised events than have Bridger shout out to everyone registered on CoX.
