Badges that can be actively griefed by others and are not within the control of the player are bad.
[/ QUOTE ]
and that should have always been not just a guideline but a hard rule for the devs. -
poop smells like poop ... err I mean welcome back

I put a +stealth io in prestige power slide, so that way it doesn't take up a "real" IO slot, and leaves sprint open if I want to jog in a less sneak manner.
-
there is always a more elite club to join... until it is a room with just Jack Nicholson in it
-
gratz on 622! I can only imagine how hard it must be to farm on a defender
-
Maybe I have been to the Special Olympics once too many, but I have decided that the most fair way for me to vote is either 5 stars or no vote at all (and I try to leave constructive feed back and an offer to replay it if they want). I figure if I am not going to help them get towards the goal of HoF least I can do is not hurt their chances.

I still want to run an ITF at the speed of dUmb
Can I get a save the date card? -

It's kind of strange how this has evolved since the beginning of RV:
[*] At the very beginning a hero and villain could trade pillboxes, even when lying dead next to one. [*] Once they 'fixed' that then it was kind of tedious to do them until they let teams get team credit for them.[*] Then the Heavies got nerfed. Squishies trying to solo them were pretty much back to very tedious again. [*] Now that PvP got 'fixed' I imagine it's relatively easier for badgers (even with effectively useless Heavies).
Sure neutral pillboxes are nice for INF/Prestige, but they are not easy for solo squishies with crappy Heavies. Clearly the Devs have maneuvered this thing towards teaming being the best way at this point for most people. That's probably the way they envisioned it in the beginning but it took several years of changes to finally get it there.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you time line is off ( or mine is) I recall that the heavies got the nerf long before team credit.
and with the pvp changes I think it is harder still, but then I am on a tank and I would taunt turrets while the heavy took them down, all while a few villains punched at my back.
I got talked back into RV last night, and I noticed that I could no longer ignore Villains, better game play? sure! helpful with the badge grind? not at all. -

You know what's next right? The 700 Club!

I have been waiting ... I honestly assumed that joke would have happened within the first 3 replies to this thread ....
If nothing else I am happy to hand you the Bob Saget badge for your attempt to dethrone the king of corny jokes -
[ QUOTE ]
Damn, just passed 500 myself. My hats off to you my friend. Any tips?

grind until you are numb!
then start farming....
I remember thinking "Man the people that got back from the future when it came out had it so easy", and I had it tough having to solo 1000 pillboxes .... now a days with the pvp changes I don't feel so bad. -
just one more ! you can do it!
I am sure the server's badge channels will light up once i14 goes live and everyone is wanting to get all the test badges out of the way. -
[ QUOTE ]
So, do you mind answering a few questions on this auspicious occasion?
[/ QUOTE ]
Sure! I always make time for my adoring fans!
[ QUOTE ]
What was the badge that put you over the top?
[/ QUOTE ]
Saddly it was not Leader or anything Epic. It was in fact Physician that I got a fraction of a second after I got Professor.
[ QUOTE ]
What badge was the hardest to get?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hard is such a subjective term. Back from the future took some work, but at the time my work schedule gave me time to make 3 runs in the wee hours of the morning, so it became part of the morning routine like brushing my teeth. No the hardest badge was Probably Master of the Statesman's Task Force, Sure now it is fairly common and my group has well over a 66% success rate. But that first time when I was on a team with badge collecting royalty like Hopper, and Burnin' up, if not the hardest will certainly stand out as the most rewarding and meaningful. If fact it is one of the few times I have a screen shot of an event.
[ QUOTE ]
What's you next badge going go be?
[/ QUOTE ]
Again I wish I could say Leader, and while I do make daily progress towards that goal according to my calendar my next badges will be Law Enforcer, Security Chief and Committed all on the same day no less! -
[ QUOTE ]
Because you left!

It's true I am a leaver, and in extreme cases a pry bar. -
Hey, me too! I'm now working on Clubber and I'll be getting my 51 month Vet-Badge on March 28th!
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't even have my 30 month badge yet -
[ QUOTE ]
I prefer 'mercurial'. Maybe we want to come in and dispense some snark.
[/ QUOTE ]
I do enjoy some good snark with a 01 bordeaux -
I finally got 600 badges on my badge toon. I feel this is a real mile stone.

I am not sure I can approve of so much man on slax b00fing
-
Today I want to be dUmb, I should see my doctor or medication prescriber
-
The zinger proc has been un-broken and/or I am just real special.
I do have a a few in hand, and I am willing to wait to get what I want either through the market or merits.
according to mids w/ 1 mob I have S/L 49.2 F/C 32.3 E/N 38.6
if I switch CL to the zephyr I lose 1 point of S/L gain 1 point E/N and lose 10% regen and 7.5% recharge; not thinking it is worth the trade.
If I switch boxing to 3 pounding slugfests move the extra slot to SJ and make that zephyr I lose 3.8 points of S/L and gain 1.5 points of E/N Might be worth it but the cushion in S/L may be nice for +3 mobs Hmm...
Thanks for the input and the overall guidance! -

I found a lot of the tips in this thread helpful.
Here is the current build on my INV/SS tank like many my focus was "plugging the psi hole" and now see that was probably a mistake. what changes would you sugest. I don't really want to lose any of my purple sets, and don't think I want to change any powers w/o a good reason at least. other than that the sky's the limit, or 1.5 bil inf which ever comes first.

This was a Monday that I suffered from severe hand cramps at the office ... for some reason.
