lol exactly, no travel power scrappers wud hammer me, but they cant contain me to stop me running and dont have enough burst dmg to kill me quickly...i can get a regen down to around 1/3 health but then they heal i may be able to beat a SR, definately not an invul. still to this day have no idea how dark armour works

i dont think no scrapper wud beat my tank, i no that a scrapper cant beat my tank, why? because im not gonna stand toe to toe with a scrapper am i. if i did id die and lose hard. the first rule of pvp is knowing when to fight and when to run. i no i cant beat a scrapper unless they are very poor and they dont have enough dmg or containment abilities to kill me fast enough or pin me down.

im happy to fight any type of scrapper with my fire tank, altho it will extremely boring

also i dont have either tough or weave as they arent needed

i'm hosting a tournament this sunday that has had 12 entrants, 6 of which are PvP regulars, that leaves 6 people i dont regularly arena with. if people dont wanna enter then i dont see why we shud spend time organising events to try to bring some life into the almost dead levels of PvP over here

also were not leaving EU, just PvP'in over there as well because they have tournaments with 5, 8 and 16 people in a team. any tournament over here with those numbers in a team would have 0 entrants

Note, I have been on all tournaments I have been eligible for before that one, and if you want more participants try organising a tournament at lvl 30.

Whats your problem with me exactly?
My comment, seeing as you want to pull it apart, simply meant I'm not making posts about how pvp compares to the american servers and encouraging a mass exodus. Something which I believe to be detrimental to the state of pvp over here.
As for organising a tournament, I have very little interest in the arena, much prefering BB and SC, the "thrill of the chase" is a huge part of the fun for me. Occasionally I'll see an organised event, think it might be cool, then see its 50's only. (the squished event being the most recent). On top of that, I lack the confidence to put any event together, it is something that would take a lot of mental preperation for me. Besides, why 40? Then you exclude everyone else, just as the lvl 50 tournaments do, another reason I prefer zones.

i think ur missing my point i got defensive because ur original post suggested we hadnt tried to help pvp in EU, we've done nothing but try to increase pvp over here for months and we will continue to host tournaments over here as well. were just starting other accounts in US cos there isnt enough pvp over here to satisfy us

so if any1 feels like they want to actually do some big team pvp come across and join us we're on freedom server and the sg in called 'The New Vanguard' and is open to all EU pvp'ers

the americans apparently love 8v8s and 16v16s so the more the merrier

some of The Paragon Defenders will be joining us too, it's about time to show the US how to PvP

You either work effectively together with the powers you have or you dont, and knowing plights build i cant quite see how he can be as less effective in the right pvp team as anyother would be good blaster.

Try a good spines/regen versus a good invuln/anything and allow the match to go to maximum time limit (thats way beyond 10 minutes), then come back to me and say its impossible for a scrapper to beat a tank, i doubt anyone could and no i wouldnt know from experience its just maths:P.

firstly who duels at more than 10minutes? secondly i take that challenge and i guarantee no matter the time limit i will not lose to a scrapper as my tank, it will be a 0-0 draw unless they are very bad

u 3 wanna make a team? jums dm/regen teamed with fire/ff and rad/rad wud be pretty awesome, or jums regen with illu/rad and ice/cold

if there are any teams that are definately entering but are not sure what toons to use? if so can u just put a team name on the sign up so i no if its worth organising a mini league? cheers

most are on union but we usually venture to test server as well, i think a couple of tanks that havent been mentioned are arctic freezer and destructivator, their taunting is almost as annoying as max powerz

An ice/ss tank could beat a spines/regen if the spiny has high end useage by draining him fully with energy absorbtion then using knockout blow to hold him then knock him back

He said bad regen. If the regen lets that happen, hes a bad regen. No tank can beat a regen. It doesnt matter if its Fire/nrg, Ice/SS or what it is. Also be said, Im not sure a scrapper can beat a tank.

there was the union heavyweight winning team of s4 which used cherry's rad/rad, of course pvp is in a whole different league now compared to then

if we cud transfer to US i'd do it in a heartbeat, just dont no if I'd have time to lvl a toon over there but it is defo worth considering, the PvP in the EU is dying a slow death and the admin team over here dont seem to care very much, really how hard wud it be to organise a PvP event? if pvp'ers can manage it im sure they can, just putting a reds name on it wud make it much more popular
