Don't sweat it if you don't have Photoshop. The thing's expensive.
-
I'm supposing, and correct me if I'm wrong, that he's going to ink over the whole screenshot. Sounds cool to me.

Wow, I'm notsure what I am more surprised at. The fact that you drew Juggy... or that he is smiling!!?!?1
LOL
Great job Aaron.
[/ QUOTE ]Come now. He's gotta smile at SOMETHING...
TA in a tutu. He's looking at TA in a tutu in that pic.
And white, I'll add you in my to-do list. Just PM me some pics. -
Hey, you're on the road to improvement already!
If the eyes are glowing, I'd reccomend sketching a *very light* glowing effect around each eye. Be careful and light with this, as erasing it could be tricky if you mess up. If you don't want to risk it, it'd probably be better to save the quality of your pic and not start it. Perhaps get a scrap sheet of paper first and practice eyes and their glows before starting on this one?
Also, here's a tip to clean up your pics: If you're opening your pics up in Photoshop after you scan them, go to Edit at the top, then Adjust > Levels. Play around with the three sliders at the bottom, and some of the lighter smudges should disappear with some tweaking. Usually taking the right-most slider and dragging it slightly to the left will do the trick. I use this all the time because I write/draw with a pencil with my knuckles against the paper.
Whenever I'm done with a piece, I'm "Blackhand." -
Here we go. Update time:
Some of these are on lined paper. Sorry for that.
Juggertha
Power Girl
Earthworm Jim
Arr! (Can you tell I had some time to kill?) -
Edit: Scratch that. Found the wiki for the play.
Anyway, so sorry about not posting them yesterday like I said. I'm scanning them now. -
Good news today:
Got into the play. Callback is Monday. No lead parts for me, but I'm fine with that.
Got bored today, so I made two more sketches at school (for fun, yknow). All four pics will be up later today. -
Maybe it comes from all those years of FPS's, Sarrate.
For those interested, I'll have two new pencils up tomorrow. Both portraits, one of Juggertha and the other of Powergirl. -
Oh wow, really cool stuff.
I love the style and shading techniques. -
No offense, but do you do this all day? You're like an art locomotive.
-
I loved Cagliostro, too, and the animated series.
-
Trying out a new style...here's my progress on Lupin:

Here's the update, just like I said:
New pencils:
Thor
(Sorry TA!) Sorry about the dim lines. I did this on looseleaf but it didn't dim the lines using the same process as it did with others.

This was a fun one to do, me being the Nintendo fan. Can't wait for Nintendo's conference tomorrow, eh?
As for the audition, I went up and sang, and when I was done, the piano player looked at me and said "Why don't I know you? You should be in chorus," so if that's any clue to how well I did... -
Glad you caught it, Sarrate. I think it's an improvement I'm going to carry into my later works.
Anyway, for my signature in my colored works, I just take my tablet, set the brush to a silver color, and set up a bevel and emboss and stroke effects in the layer properties in PS, then write my sig on the tablet.
So, I got on a little creative streak tonight, so instead of one pencil up tomorrow, you guys will have two! -
This was posted almost 2 months ago, Squirrel. I hope she's improved.

Updates (yey!):
I went ahead and started the shading layers again from scratch on Mario. I like this version better, but if it starts nagging again I'll start tweaking again (I doubt it this time, though).
Mario (Final, Again)
Also did a nice pencil sketch today. I'll get that up tomorrow.
Current plans for this week are:
-A full pencil for a friend.
-Coloring Lupin.
-A digital landscape painting.
Those interested in my personal life: Going to audition tomorrow for an upcoming play. Since it's a musical, I have to sing for the audition. I'll be doing "Come Sail Away" by Styxx. I'm not too worried. -
I was taught it wasn't polite to point.
It makes it hard to tell people which way to go, though.
"Which way do I go?"
"That way."
"...What?" -
-
My friends tell me I look like my icon...but older. Like the regular Jimmy Kudo, but with glasses.
-
The processes are really quite simple once you get a hand at them. Just takes awhile.
Thanks for the compliments, guys.
I'm actually thinking about inking and coloring Lupin next. I have an idea with inking in a different style for that one. -
Hooray, my first ever piece to have gone through sketching, inking, and coloring:
