"In the spirit of the season and starting off 2010 with some fun, 17 presents have been hidden on Justice. On January 3, 2010 at 5pm the clues to each present will be released on this invitation. Your job is to capture the solution to a clue via camera. Make sure you are in the picture as well, and make sure your name tag is visible. Wouldn't want your present to end up in the wrong hands would we? Time will be of the essence, so make sure you're prepared! Grab your santa hat and scarf, change the film in your camera and put on your running shoes because once the contest begins it'll be too late for last minute preparations. Good luck everyone!"

***Contest Rules***
The following rules will govern this contest as run by @Cai and all final decisions on potential winning entries will be decided by @Cai according to these rules:
1. Each present will be awarded to the first partygoer who correctly solves the clue and posts the answer in this thread in the correct format. Make sure you know the rules before posting your answer. No exceptions!
2. Only 1 present, either 1 Blue or 1 Red but not 1 of each, may be claimed per global account.
3. All presents to be claimed and rewarded on the Justice Server. Payouts will be to the exact toon pictured in the winning entrant's photo.
4. In order to participate in Cai's Holiday Bash, you must be able to do the following:
A. Post on the forums.
B. Solve the clues with an appropriately dressed toon on the Justice Server (see invitation for details).
C. Take a screenshot of the answer to the clue with your toon and toon's name above the head visible.
D. Host your screenshot on the internet so it can be linked to the forums.
E. Post your answer to the forums in the following format:
Name: Toon Name
Global Name: @Global Name
Present Claimed: Redside/Blueside Present 1,2,3,4,5, etc
Clue Answer: Answer to the clue typed out here.

For example, if there was a number 10 present on Blueside for 5 million influence with a clue of "This catgurl is putting on a Holiday Bash in 2010" this is how the forum post would look in order to claim the present:

Present Claimed: Blueside Present 10
Clue Answer: R u catgurl?

***Please note that in the above example Scavenger Hunt 2010 would be disqualified from winning even though he posted correctly to the forums, had the right answer and included himself, the answer and his name above his toon's head in the linked picture. He obviously didn't read the invitation because he wasn't dressed Holiday Festive. Don't make the same mistake!

***FAQ***
1. Why the AE?
Because I like the potential AE holds for future events I am planning to run. Consider this contest a test run.
2. Is this just an excuse to get me to play some lame fan-fiction?
For the side of me that enjoys creating content? Probably. Like I said above, though, this is mainly a test run for future events I have planned for 2010.
3. So do I have to rate your arc 5 stars in order to claim a present?
Not at all. In fact for most of the presents you won't even need to finish the arc, and I would recommend that you don't if you're planning to be the first one to correctly post the clue answer to this thread.
4. What if I hate your lame story and give it 1 star, can I still claim a present?
Of course.
5. Do I need to rate your arc at all to claim a present?
No.
6. Is there anything I should know about this arc ahead of time to help me prepare for this contest?
I would bring a toon that can solo EB's. Also, make sure you're dressed for the occasion.
7. Why are you giving away so much stuff and where did you get it?
Because I want to and I earned it.
8. Why is this contest only for Justice? I thought the AE was server-wide. Can't I just do the contest on my lvl 50 from Freedom and have you pay my alt on Justice?
This contest is for Justice because it is my home. While it's true that the AE is server-wide, this contest isn't. If you have a lvl 50 on a different server that you want to participate with, then transfer him/her on over. I even hear that transfers are free for now.
9. So what's stopping me from transferring a toon to Justice, winning a present on January 3rd, then transferring back to my home server before free transfers stop on the 31st?
You bring up an excellent point! All presents will be held by me until February 1, 2010, at which time they will be promptly distributed to their rightful owners. To answer your question, it'll cost you $10 to transfer your prize.
10. What if I make a mistake when posting my answer, thus disqualifying that entry, but someone else then uses the parts I got right in order to submit the correct answer before I can correct my mistake... do I still get partial credit for that present?

All presents offered above are done so by me, @Cai, and are available on-hand at this moment for payout via R u catgurl? on blueside and Banemaster Dietrich on redside. Only one winner for each prize will be awarded, subject to the Contest Rules as explained above. In event of a dispute, I retain sole rights to make any final decision. If it is determined that cheating may have been involved in some way, @Cai may request more information from the potential winner in order to verify that no cheating in fact took place. Each winner will have until January 31, 2010 to contact me via in-game at @Cai or on the forums at _Cai_ and make arrangements for present pick-up. All presents will be held until February 1, 2010, at which time they will be promptly handed out to their rightful owners. All presents not given out by February 15, 2010 will be returned to my prize fund for my next event. If you're still reading this far, then give yourself a pat on the back. I honestly didn't expect anyone to read this far, but you... you took that extra step. Let me offer you my sincerest wishes that you claim one of the above presents for yourself, if only for your dedication to make sure every 'i' is dotted and every 't' is crossed. However, if you have read this far and then submit an answer during the contest that has to be disqualified for not following the rules, then allow me to be the first to LOL in your face. I mean seriously, who reads the fine print only to go on and not follow the rules?
