I know the pumas would be fine *in the wild*. But these are *shelter fed animals*, they either have to rely upon humans to hand them their meat, or try to escape if worst comes to worst. I'm not saying they're anywhere near that kind of bad situation, but captive animals like those in the south during the hurricanes had to be released or euthanized (in a *disaster* of course, not merely bad weather). Just sayin.

Those big ol paws with the 2" thick fur, I knows. Heck my mom worries about my indoor-outdoor cat going outside when it's like 60. "But it's so cold outside!" I'm like, mom, it's a cat. With fur, you know? fur? what we wear because we don't have any?

After driving way too long yesterday I know I'm not gonna be driving up there. But sometime next year, i'll rent a car from Portland or something and go after Emerald City con (provided... I make that one too lol).

What I really, really think is the best part?

It's not a 'movie'. It's all in-game footage. No need to go and snazz up things and make them look like they're better than they are in game. They already ARE this cool.

Rental car

... I've got an account with Hotels.com, already, for the hotel I booked in SJ. I'm probably just going to wind up wandering around San Francisco a while, because the idea of heading up farther into winter is really looking a little daunting to me. I own *no* warm clothing... (Hell, it's 60 in my room and my feet are frozen...)

I think another time for cimmie, maybe spring, because I'm goign to have to head out to conventions to push my rpg. Emerald city con would be a good excuse, and that's reasonably close.

1 - probably.
2 - no. I think they sent out a piece of info that stated only winners would be contacted or words to that effect. So... yeah I guess now we just wait n see.

I haven't found a good price on a roundtrip and hotel / car package... Not sure what's going to happen with this... sigh. I wanna see the kitty, I don't want to endanger my short/long term finances or my life in weather... yarg.

So I've been thinking of parking my car for half a week in San Jose and *flying* to Spokane, because frankly driving 15 hours in what might turn out to be freaking cold or dangerously rainy/snowy weather is *not* how I'd like to spend my vacation... So I'm gonna start looking at prices for flights and overnights.

Looking forward to seeing this kitty. If people want to send donation money I'm planning on giving them something while I'm there for her. if there's interest shoot me a PM and I'll send my paypal account info.
