The format as it is now is kind of sound, but I feel less impetus to sit and watch it via UStream. I watched it all, and the powers panel was really the only part I enjoyed. I know what you mean, and it is really frustrating to have ideas, that are not heard or expressed just because we can't travel. -

I'm also pretty disappointed with that crowd in the room for voting radiation armor over throwing weapons. TW would have been a GREAT powerset to build with the playerbase. RA is pretty limited for optionable design in comparison.
No disappointment here. Synapse is still my favorite Dev, but Hawk is doing pretty good. -
Well, No answers on the two things I wanted to know the most. Will we ever get the rest of the CoT costumes, and will we get the Black Knight armor in the store?
Please devs take pity on me and my inability to attend and answer these questions. -

Zwill's unprofessional post was one ot Tommy Lee Jones looking over the paper at someone who asked about female ports to male models iirc. I have a feeling GG knew that and could have answered her own question.
Then Zwill said what he did about the new policy. It amounted to that females would get all the male/unisex items, AND unique parts of their own. This was on the heels (pardon the pun) of the female only CoL set.
It got a little ugly, and responses by GG didn't help any, big surprise right?
Any way, it all made it seem like males would not even get new faces or beards. That ended up not being the case.

The final choice of which to go with was not made by the devs, but by crowd voice vote. They also did say that they're going to hold onto these suggestions for later, even the costume ideas they didn't use today. So we may see some of this stuff later on anyways.

Now if lack of female porting becomes the reason the Black Knight armor is not given to the players I scream hypocrites at the top of my lung (yes I only have one! > ) because of the CoL set they released.

I am not sure I could have been any less excited by that choice. No one suggested a Green Lantern Style Energy Armor. Made like the Victorian aura, or the Radiance parts of the Ascension armor?
Half the stuff discussed can already be simulated with things in the creator. Oh well. Maybe we will get the torn spandex from the crazy peeps in FW. -

Air control received the least amount of cheers among the sets- not saying it is not wanted, but from chat and live audience rad armor was the most wanted.
Edit: and at least rad melee didn't win out...because we have plenty of existing melee powersets...and one on the way.
That panel was actually really fun to watch, and there some very cool ideas thrown out and accepted by the devs. -

Lack of a good radius on its AOE did not help its sales. You know by now that AOE attacks are king for min/maxers in game.
Also, I really don't care how they feel about the Black Knight costumes clipping. They should let us make that decision at this point. They lost that card to play when they put the high collar cape in the game, it clips with every shoulder option there is. -

Also, just as a completely off-the-cuff guess: it's the only ranged set that's been offered for sale (at least, that's not free for VIPs), so if you want a new ranged set, you take Beam Rifle. On the other hand, if you want a new melee set, there was StJ and TW, and now Staff, to choose from. Splitting the vote, as it were.

I wonder if power pool customization will come up at any point. That would have been good for key note.
