  1. I would like to get a themed Super Team (SG) running on Mondays (mid-day). I am open to suggestions on themes, uniforms, naming etc... In the past I have been a big fan of Angelic and Elemental themes but would be open to others also. Send me a tell in game if you are interested. Would love to get a team of 4, but 8 would be even better.

    Message me a @xerocurve.
  2. Hello Unionites ... I will definitely be making a toon over yonder. Hope to have a blast.

    EDIT:

    If yall need any assistance over on Virtue, don't hesitate to hit me up if you see me .
  3. Happy belated birthday BT, we have the same birthday hope you had a great day!
  4. The true Icons, or people who deserver that status, are the countless people who go out and lead when there is no other reason other than to help others achieve things. I feel blessed to know a few of them, and I am sure there are many I don't know!
  5. Hmmm, what to say ...

    I started in summer of '05 on Guardian and was there for like a year. I checked out Virtue and never looked back. Spent a bunch of dough transferring toons. Met a lot of cool people. I had only 1 50 on Guardian in a years time. 16 Now on Virtue. My first 50 was a Dark/Dark Scrapper cause I heard early on that they sucked, so I just had to have one. His name was Ahnix. Most know me as Xero now days. Not sure what else to say. I am down for teaming almost every time I'm on, old friend or newbie, don't hesitate to hit me up.

    Here is a little advice to new peeps. Team ... and if you cant find one ... start one. Sooo many people just stand around broadcasting LFT ... but if you start a team and simply just run some contact missions or radios, you will meet people and over time there will be a few people you just click with. There are so many cool people on Virtue your bound to make friends fairly quickly.

    Game on !
  6. *does happy dance* ----> Zeta Pl-1. Sorry we didn't get you involved ES .
  7. Grats Chyll ... always nice to recover with a vengence .
  8. You know im down ES ... I can bring whatever you want. If you want a good tank I can always bring "King Geo" or whatever ... dont matter to me .
  9. *bump*

    Come on Virtue, if you got a cold hearted hero and like a challenge come and sign up.

  10. Silver,

    If you want to head up the advertising, I will try and be there to either help or lead. Myself, BT, Emporer Steele, and Trueshot did this for almost 2 years straight and it was a blast. I cant say id be there every saturday but I would for a lot of them.

    Nope ... the regular scheduled Sat night runs have been off for a while, but I still do random Master attempts throughout the week.
  12. Hey Virtue ... I am gonna start up themed STF runs on Sunday afternoons again (1pm EST). I think this will be #8. The runs will be set to Master but that is not the goal. The goal is too see if very odd team makeups can even complete an STF run, and have fun doing it . So if you have a toon that fits the theme and want to get in on this just reply with your particulars.

    Theme: Cold Hearted

    Needed:

    Ice/Ice Tanker -->
    Ice/Ice Blaster --> Kryonite (me)
    Ice/Ice Blaster -->
    Ice/Ice Blaster -->
    Ice/Ice Troller --> Kalikamata
    Ice/Ice Troller -->
    Cold/Ice Fender -->
    Cold/Ice Fender -->

    Ok so if you have a cold hearted hero who wants to prove something let me know . I am starting this thread early to make sure we get 8 for the run.

    Ice Ice baby ... uh ya
  13. Cap has been trying to get this since way back (Harkens back to teams of me, Patty, BT, Trueshot) ... ahhh the good ole days. Glad we could help ya get it Cap .

    Grats !!!
  14. I love my Ice/Ice blaster. Hit me up anytime ... hes lvl 50 but I would still duo with ya if I am not already busy. His name is Kryonite.

    @XeroCurve (evenings)
  15. Thats pretty sweet. New hardware here I come.
  16. Just to clear up a few issues ...

    1. I didnt make the rules.
    2. I merely was given leadership and I thought it would be nice to continue with the founders ideas.
    3. I dont like the idea of deleting a toon ive put a lot of time into either.
    4. The people who have played with me over the last 4 years know that I do things intentionally to make it hard, this game is easy!!! I want a challenge!!! If you dont want a challenge ... move along.
    5. I would be happy to change the rules if others came in and wanted to take up leadership positions and discuss what would make this SG fun and Challenging.
    6. Personally I like the RP concept of a toon going into an undead state (freezing XP, making the toon all white in color), after a death and a team formed by the SG having to go do some very difficult mission (maybe a taylored AE mission) to find some item/cure/spell that will rez the fallen team mate.

    If you think this SG has any kind of potential and want to be a part of it, and maybe you have some other cool ideas that are better then the founder, then let me know. I am always down for considering peoples ideas that are constructive and positive.

    There are about 10 folks in it right now, but there not active. This is one of those things that a few people get hyped on then it fizzles pretty quick for the most part. I will go ahead and keep it alive for a while just in case there are a handful of people who want to do it.

  19. The Blade of Justice is recruiting again. I have recently taken over leadership and am looking for a few others who want a real challenge.

    Background

    BoJ is a collection of outsiders and vigilantes with a heroic bent. However, they operate outside of the law and are not formally registered with Paragon City's law enforcement structure. They are a known group but run completely under the radar.

    Mission

    BoJ exists to provide a challenge to longtime CoH players who are looking for a challenge in their PvE gameplay and who wish to get back to the basics of the game - teamwork and storyline. To that end, rules have been created to create a framework encouraging mutual dependence and interconnectivity.

    Guidelines
    • All character ATs and backgrounds are allowed. Each player should have a reasonable backstory explaining why his character is operating as a vigilante. Upon the release of "Going Rogue," the SG will likely allow villain AT members.
    • Members can only team with other SG members.
    • Members cannot solo after level 1 and must join the SG by level 2. More experienced characters cannot become members. They must start, survive, and grow within the SG.
    • Members defeated in combat must be deleted (i.e., "permadeath") unless they can be resurrected by the use of a self-rez power (e.g. Rise of the Phoenix) or by another teammate using a rez-other power (e.g., Resurrect, Resuscitate, Howling Twilight, etc.). Awaken inspirations cannot be used and must be deleted when acquired. Members may not use the hospital and no base medical bay will be built. Temporary self-rez powers from events or other rewards may never be used.
    • Members may not use any booster pack powers, veteran rewards powers, or vet reward respecs of any kind. Only powers (including story arc temporary powers) and respecs earned in regular gameplay may be used. Tailor tokens and costume-related veteran rewards may be used.
    • Members can buy salvage and costume recipes at Wentworth's. No other transactions of any kind are allowed at Wentworth's.
    • Members can buy or sell any item at a store or university, including enhancements, inspirations, and generic IO recipes. Members may get a free IO from the University tutorial.
    • Because the SG has no access to outside IOs and Recipes (other than drops and those earned with reward merits), Members are encouraged to craft all IO recipes in their possession and place all unusable IOs in base storage for use by other members.
    • Members must run in SG mode till lvl 25.
    • Members may never participate in police radio/scanner missions, bank safeguard missions, or enter any PvP zone as these areas are all controlled by police and/or Longbow operatives. Furthermore, for story continuity purposes, AE missions and Ouroboros (both the zone itself and missions obtained there) may not be entered by Members.
    • Members are encouraged to run contact missions, story arcs, and task forces. Due to the inability to acquire recipes from Wentworth's, reward merits will be critical in acquiring key IO recipes.
    • Because the SG is barred from using Paragon City's teleportation system, the base may only be entered at Steel Canyon, the location of BoJ's secret headquarters. Note that members may have personal teleportation powers for travel and transporting teammates and enemies, but this does not give them access to the "grid."
    • Upon the death of the Leader, Leadership shall pass to the next highest level surviving member. In the event of a tie, the member with the most prestige shall appointed Leader as the final act of the deceased Leader prior to deletion.
    • SG members may freely trade any commodity amongst themselves. SG members may not trade with any non-members whatsoever, including non-member alts controlled by the same player.
    • SG members may participate in costume contests and other non-SG social functions but never accept any influence or commodity of any kind as reward or gift. Similarly, members must reject (if given the option) the application of a buff power upon themselves by a non-member.
    • Each player may have multiple alts in the SG, at his or her option.
    • While survival is the main goal, members are encouraged to "push the envelope" in terms of mission difficulty, either by adjusting the number & level of enemies or by (e.g.) disallowing the use of inspirations during Task Forces.
    • Members should be mature, familiar with the game, and able to get along with others. Roleplaying (either verbal or typed) is welcome but not required.

    The SG Leader is currently Draghead, a Fire/Fire Scrapper level 10. If you are interested and want to possibly be in a leadership postion please let me know.

    Future Considerations

    I will be discussing some other considerations with new leaders on the following topics.
    • Time limits on how long a toon can stay down without being resurected, before they are considered dead for good?
    • Possible "undead" status with no XP earned, if that player wants to continue to play with the the toon and have no progression in levels?
    • Possible resurection of an undead player toon, by successful completion of a Master TF run?
  20. Star Strider Forces Registry:

    Name - Xero P. Curve
    Global Contact - @ZeroCurve
    Level of Classification - 50 Mind/FF Troller
    Origin - Natural
    Super Group & Rank - Ivy League

    Optional - [X] Yes! I am willing to provide sarcasm on demand.
  21. I am completely down with this idea and would love to put a toon in the SG. I will hit you up in game soon. I am not sure what type of toon I will make but I think the idea is great. Personally I love a challenge.
  22. If you guys are down ... lets put a team together this Sat night for a "Guide" run. We will go through as a team and we can discuss what the best strategies are while we are doing it. I am planning on putting a guide/walkthrough myself and would love to take screenshots along the way. This team should prefferably be people that lead MoSTFs on a regular basis and know the TF in and out. Let me know what you think.
