Who is your Hero?

My next video idea is all about heroes you have created that mirror a real world hero in your life and everyday heroes who play this game. Heroes come in all forms, family, friends, enlisted personnel, veterans, police officers, EMT/Paramedics, fire fighters, medical professionals even a stranger whose deeds inspired a character creation of yours. If you have created an in game hero in honor of your real world hero or know a real hero who plays and would like them in the video please contact me. I'll need a jpg of your real world hero and a demorecord of their avatar. If you can't get the demorecord I will be happy to do one in game for you.

This idea is in its beginning stages and will only take form with enough support. PM me here or on the Titan Network.

* Note * They do not need to look alike, just the creation inspired by. If you made an angel for them or a tank to protect them ect.

Thanks for info! This will take a bit but I hope the end result will be nice. Again if anyone has a real world hero that you have created a in game hero in honor of them I'd love to add them to the video. Some examples so far are a character created in honor of an amazing cause started by some great people, and an angel created in honor of a grandfather. I just need an image of the real world person and a character file (from demorecord) of the character created.

This is vague, but I remember someone on the Justice server (I think) creating his sister who had died and was protesting early on in the announcement days. Justice also has the Lukas (sp?) memorial that had a huge turnout. I didn't even know him, but I went. Justice is like that I guess.

My heroes are my parents.

It sounds goofy, and I a massive trial to them when I was younger (they'd say that nothing has changed on that front).

With my dad. I dunno. How do you design an almost totally unflappable dude who just gets up and goes to work day after day after day after day and actually does his job. If I had half the work ethic that man had (he's retired now and 72, so he's in "I'm just gonna sit down and watch me some TV, leave me alone), I'd be a billionaire." He just became a grandfather last year when my brother's triplets arrived. My parents aren't "Granny and Grampy". They're "Grammy and Grumpy".

And my mom. German/Irish. Brute. Period. And yeah, someone took the height option on her all the way down. So there's enough fury to make an entire country-full of Hulks simply overload and explode. Even nowadays, I'd rather tank every GM, AV, iTrial boss, and Hamidon SIMULTANEOUSLY on an unslotted Level 1 Empathy Defender in Rest than have her ticked off at me.

But that much energy can have positive outlets too. She was always there for us. Band, Scouts, Tae Kwon Do, Little League, you name it. And if she wouldn't put up with MY BS, she'd be damned if she'd put up with others (as some of the people in these activities had their little "personal fiefdoms" that she basically went thermonuclear on, then turned around and made actually profitable). All while working two jobs.

Yeah, my brothers and I nearly put her in the looney bin a couple times (wish it was a joke, but we were little fricking monsters as kids and she got almost NO support from her family or my dad's).

Case in point, one of our neighbors was a guy who had definite "opinions" about women and their proper "place" in the world. We would occasionally lose a ball in his yard. We couldn't go in, the guy kept a doberman who was rather feral. Instead of eventually getting them back to us, he'd keep or destroy them. My mom gave him a dressing down that'd have R. Lee Ermey lying broken and sobbing on the floor.

So the next time my father went to take the trash out, this neanderthal followed him out there and basically told my dad that if he didn't "get control of his wife", that he'd thrash him.

Well, my mom had seen this guy follow my dad out and was standing behind him with a baseball bat...

"Yeah. And while you're doing that, I'll be caving in your ******* head you *******!"

This relic finally up and moved away a few months later. But he never said a damn thing to my parents again, and anything we'd lose in his yard would just wind up back on our side of the fence.
