What I've learned from CoH

I've learned a lot from this game, I'm sure others have too, so in 7 years (or how ever long you've played, what have you learned.)

Here's what I've learned -

- Badge collecting is strangely addictive.

- Paragon wiki is your friend.

- Devs hate Villains.

- If you're using an energy blaster, you can either Fly and shoot down to mitigate KB, or get used to your team mates complaining about it.

- Gravity\Storm controllers are a blast!

- Real Life costume events are just as fun as the in game counterparts.

- Jay is unbelievably sexy.

- Things are better with partners or teams, be it an 8 man tour-de-force that rips through TFs like wet tissue, or being able to tactically plan and get super into things with a girlfriend sitting at the computer next to you.

- Free to play is not a dirty word.

- Things that are impossible\ AREN'T... Thing's that Can\will never happen. WILL.

The things I can think of off the top of my head that people said would never happen in this game, that did.

- Power customization
- Side Switching
- Wings
- Backpacks
-Quivers (In issue 24)

Ohh.. and D&D can be seriously fun! (My first and only game of D&D was with positron and a few other players, and a couple devs hanging out. It was a blast, Positron donated his time for charity, and I'm still very happy with that memory.)

I guess this is my first post and possibly last. I am fairly new to CoH, being here since last march; but in this short time I have really come to love this game. I wished that I had come over to this game so much earlier when I had first learned of it. I just never gave MMO's much thought. Now it will be sorely missed. Thank You NCsoft for this game and thank you everyone for all the teams and fun times. Thanks Viking698 for introducing me to this game. TTFN>Gaming on till its done, and then ????
