The End

Guess this is it. I always knew City of Heroes would end, but I always figured it be the day when the tech was too far primitive to support us or when there wouldn't be enough players for the game. But not like this. Not this way....

Anyway, its been a true blast. City of Heroes has meant a lot for me. I joined back in summer of 2007 a month after Issue 12. I was young, still relying on Parents to pay and could only play summers. But it was my first MMO and truely a blast. Started off on Liberty the first month learning the ropes of playing. Then moved over to Freedom to play with more people and learned the basics. Course the following year I joined up with Virtue, became a RPer, and never looked back. Over the next few years I'd play my thousands of alts and read these forum posts and guides and loved this game more and more.

Then Came this year. Had my best year. Joined a new Super Group, (The United Underworld), made new friends, and after 5 years made my first 50. My main, Pure Inferno, a fire/fire magic brute whom I love. And now I must say goodbye to him and this fun world. No more fun forum games. No more guides. No more crazy events. I'm still in shock, but I guess this little post is really some nice closure for me, and to help me realize what is going on. I probably won't play another MMO again., (Unless some good friends go with me) and I know I'll miss many of you dearly.
