I don't understand City of Data's info on this. How much damage does the proc do for this? Thanks!

Using Spectral Interface common as an example -

Five ticks of .125*[melee tempdamage]. Clicking on the melee tempdamage link goes to a page that says the amount of damage it does at 1. So the attribute at 50 is 107.09. Soooo...

.125 * 107.09 = ~13.39 ... five ticks of 13.39 = 66.95.

This can stack up to four times, 66.95 * 4 = 267.8.

To add to the above, it's a 75% chance for each tick of damage, and it cancels on a miss. Meaning, if the first tick misses, it won't roll for any of the others. 25% chance that there will be no DoT.

PvP Redux is discontinued, for obvious reasons. Thanks to everyone who helped and joined.

75% at Tier 3, correct? So approximately 30.6 dam for a Tier 3, which is close to a purple dam proc.

(.75*.25*13.39)+(.75*.75*.25*2*13.39)+(.75*.75*.75 *.25*3*13.39)+(.75*.75*.75*.75*.25*4*13.39)+(.75*. 75*.75*.75*.75*5*13.39)

Actually 8 times. The debuffs stack up to four times but the damage procs stack to eight.

Does a miss really cancel?

Yes. But it's important to note that it only cancels that stack. If you use two powers then the enemy will have two stacks each of which does "cancel on miss" separately.

The "cancel on miss" mechanic is also used with the secondary DoTs that most fire attacks have.
