Water Spout: IO KB to KD functionality?
Come to think of it, I only remember seeing that they were going to fix that IO in tornado and bonfire, I don't recall them mentioning Water Spout. So, it SHOULD work well in it. I haven't tested it myself though.
i slotted this proc at first on my ill/dark troller with water spout..... i asked about it quite a bit, and tested it a little... it seemed to pin SOME enemies down while not having much effect on others. I unslotted it and the impact really wasnt different... so i would say no its not worth slotting it in water spout, IMO. It does great on its own and wont send guys flying anymore, wonderful power!
Man, that sucks. Good thing someone asked before I went through with my scrappers build and found out the hard way.

And the knockup is sufficient on water spout, i love that power and i would think its better on ranged toons for a distraction, but also, it could work on melee in the event of those silly runners running from the dying mob!
oh before i forget, your best bet is to just copy your character over to test server... test water spout without the proc, then test it with and see what you like, easy enough, and saves you money! each persons taste is different, i just happen to find that phantasm benefited more from the proc than water spout on my ill/dark troller!
Hey guys.
I just wanted to seek some confirmation here before I spend a fortune on one of these IOs only to find it acts finicky in the selected power. Does anybody use the Overwhelming Force Knockback to Knockdown proc on water spout? If so, does it function properly? It's been awhile since I've used this power, but I remember it sending enemies just absolutely flying all over the place. I'd love to take this power on my SF/EA scrapper provided the IO will keep the enemies from being flung around out of the range of the delicious AoEs of Staff Fighting. I looked around for an instance of someone using this combo but haven't been able to find anything in my scouring of the forums.
Thanks!
