Help with Fire/Rad/Soul Maxi build
I don't really see the need for defense on a controller. Look at all the tools you have..especially with the "new" Bonfire.
I do enjoy defense builds on occasion, but building for ranged defense almost always has big sacrifices (altho alpha's can compensate).
but, tbh a Fire/Rad is gonna rock regardless

Because you occasionally stumble upon groups of groups that exceed the maximum effects for your control.
Sometimes you miss.
Sometimes, due to lag, mobs simul-alpha you before the control takes effect.
Defense helps ameliorate this.
My big issue with this build is that the endurance consumption os absolutely through the roof. Without having AM up ALL THE TIME, you're actually losing endurance JUST STANDING THERE. And, even inside of AM, you can barely attack without slurping down the entirety of your blue bar.
Maybe for someone operating on a team with massive endurance buffs (like a Fire/Rad team), this wouldn't be so bad. But solo, this thing's dancing on a razor's edge and constantly chugging blues.
OP, one quick and easy change would be to use an End Reduction in RI instead of a recharge. Even better, if you could steal an extra slot for RI to slot 2 Enzymes, I think you'd be good to go. Maybe 1 from Dark Embrace and use 2 Ribosomes there.
Oh yeah, use a Steadfast Protection 3% instead of a Glad Armor 3%, that should save you, oh, a billion inf (I haven't checked prices lately so anyone, please don't bother correcting).

Thanks for the advice guys, I have made some changes to address the end issues and swapped to taking cardiac which looks to make a big difference. S/L Resit is nice and def is soft capped in most places with RI running. Biggest change which I am not too sure about is dropping Cinders and slotting up Bonfire with the Proc and Purple set, but I think give the recharge time on Bonfire (16sec) and the great things I have been hearing about the proc this may be the way to go. Any further thoughts or advice would be great.

Just to add to what others have already said:
Cinders is a HUGE tool. It activates VERY fast, and if you're quick, faster than an alpha retaliation can hit. Add in the Lockdown Chance to Hold, and it gets even better. Choking Cloudis another amazing spot for that Proc. I know the extra 3% ranged def is nice, but you have 100% defense to enemies held.

Why the hell are you putting HO Ribosomes in Radiation Infection?
Also, your build has NO AoE holds. None.
Okay, Bonfire with the KD proc is NICE. But it sure as **** ain't THAT nice!
I'd economize a bit.

Thanks for the updated build Hyper, bit of a mind fart on the Hamis in RI should of been Enzymes to enhances def end and -tohit. I take everyones feedback and have added Cinders back into the build. New build is below (basically Hypers with 2 tweaks). Plays very well so far, soloing +1*8 with out any real problems which is nice. Again any thoughts are greatly apreaciated.

Hi all my fire/rad/Soul had just hit 50 and I have spent a lot of time working on his IO build to try to get a nice mix or Recharge,Regen, Ranged Def and Resistance and at the same time creating an AOE monster this build is mainly for 50+ play as I have an IO build for his second build when exemping down. Whilst I have an unlimited budget and a spare set of every pvp and purples set aside for the build I am not sure if I am going in the right direction. My goals are a nice as stated above, great lock down and debuff perma hasten and AM and I have to have soul powers to fit his back story. I am worried about the end usage but I am not sure how to perma hasten if I take cardiac at the incarnate level. Any how here the build any feedback would be great.
