Please critique this Night Widow build

Hi all, I've been struggling to get to grips with playing a Widow, and just hit 24. I'm trying to plan a build to have something to aim for and would love any feedback on any potential improvements. I think it's pretty good (and likely quite pricey!), but don't know how it'll play at higher levels. So far my experience with this archetype hasn't been good; for one thing it lacks an identity of its own and for another, I think I am a bit rubbish with her. Thoughts on the following, in particular, can costs be brought down and damage output:

As far as I can tell, she brings the following to a team:
30% damage buff
23% defense across the board
Vengeance, Darkest Night, Immobilise

And for herself:
Softcapped defenses, high mez resistance
75% psionic resistance
perma hasten, mindlink and pet
Aid self
To hit debuffs (smoke grenade and darkest night), recharge/regen/movement debuffs

Considering swapping Vengeance for the Taunt ability, but other than that, she seems to have reasonable survivability and damage.

I'm afraid I don't have a Night Widow and so I can't offer much in the way of specific build advice. However, you are more likely to get Night Widow players to look at the build if you post it in the Soldiers of Arachnos forum.

Overall solid.

A few thoughts:
You can scrap the Fly Spd IO's in Fly, you are at the fly speed cap with no enhancement.
I'd trim a slot in several powers (or enhance differently) ... the 6th Crushing Impacts, the 4th LotG, the Acc (6th slot) in Slash.

Likewise I think your end usage can handle single slotting endred in both Tactical Training: Assault and Assault, those second slots are more valuable elsewhere. The end saved by those two slots is 0.08 end/sec.

Move some stuff around to slot with defense and resists in Foresight. I'd dump the Aegis Psi resist special and move the Kismet elsewhere ideally to a lower level power.
You can get it back (plus a little) from slotting in Foresight and IW.

Tweaked a bit here's the build hopefully gives you some thoughts

I took a different route, wanted lots of defense, and I'm cheap. The only somewhat expensive item is the Gladiator's Armour. I used to have Mental Blast and Eviscerate, dropped those for the medicine pool and weave. In the long past had smoke grenade, I could never tell if it was actually helping. I did give up some recharge, don't even have hasten, but, Mind Link is perma. Don't forget that Mask Presence has 2 defense values and that it is only a stealth power, not invis or "hidden" even thou it says that. That is why I put the stealth IO in sprint, with mental training and sprint, cave are easier to manage than super speed and it is slightly more endurance friendly.

Okay, wow, that's really given me a lot to think about. The core skills are the same but it's softcapped even without mindlink. Not to mention more attacks, more damage, no purples and great accuracy. Given me a lot to think about. Removing the gladiator IO and replacing the fighting skills with Maneuvers still has softcapped defences, only for a little less end. and more def. shared with others. Will tinker a little more, thanks for sharing this. Guess I'm not too good with thinking outside the box.

I would like to take credit for my current build, but, like you, looked at other posted builds, read what some others thought, took some ideas, tried to incorporate them into the way I like to play my widow and this is what I came up with. The Gladiator's Armour was a late addition, could move the slot or maybe the Aegis unique, that would give some more psy resist and the psy typed defense is one of the weakest.
