Login angst

So I forgot my master account password and had it sent to my email. I tried logging in and no go. I used email address they sent it to which is unrecognized and the account name which is unrecognized AND the new password which is recognized.

Ok

What am I missing?

You should be able to log into your master account via the Paragon Market in the game. Click the shop button on your screen and in the top right of the window click Account.

Currently due to a major change on the NC Soft website, people aren't able to log into their master accounts.

They will ask you to provide information to prove you own the account and after you give them enough info they will reset your password and clear your security questions. If they don't clear your questions then ask if they can. You will receive an email with a temporary password to log into your master account and once you do you should be required to reset it to a permanent password and redo your security questions.

It's possible you also had your IP address 'authorized' in your master account and the address has changed since then. This happened to me once and it completely prevented me from accessing my master account. I went through the steps I listed, reset my password, rechose my security questions and answers and was able to log in, authorize my new IP address and removed the old address for security reasons. (I only access my master account from home and I still lived at the same physical address, just my IP address was changed) Make sure to mention it to support if you did have an IP address authorized. If you can't remember, then ask them to check it.
