Chat Settings Not Saving "Default" Channel: WAI?

When I save chat settings and load them onto another character, none of the chat tabs have a "default" channel selected and I need to go through them and do so manually. Is this Working As Intended? Known Bug? I couldn't find anything in the forum with searches.

So you're saying that you can designate a default channel for each tab and, I'm guessing, it will select that channel when you click on the tab in question? I had no idea. That would be really useful.... if it was saved with the chat settings.
