We'll sooner get a Christmas event by the beach/pool than a summer event in December/January :P

Do keep in mind that Paragon City and the Rogue Isles are located on/near the US east coast, and the in-game holidays are reflected as such.

That said, the holiday season tends to be big for movie releases, too, so maybe you're not out of line for making this suggestion.

Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

So do you get the big budget action films down under during your summer?

Or do you get the crummy post-Oscars January films that studios quietly send to theaters when they hope nobody's looking?

If I remember correctly, I watched something in the theaters in may at home, moved to oz, and watched it again when it released there 6 months later.

I will also add that at no time have I ever been so aware of the difference of being in a different country than approaching a Christmas dinner seafood buffet on a blisteringly hot day. Pass the Moreton bay bugs please!

Oh, it's beginning to look a lot like movies
Everywhere you go.
Take a look at the marquee sign, glistening once again
With candy sales and popcorn carts aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like movies
Sex and lots of gore
But the prettiest sight to see is the grenade that will be
through a villain's door.

There will be the Boxing Day (Day after Christmas) movies, mainly family shindigs. But big summer blockbusters? They're usually around now. In winter.

A lot of the time lately though, we've been seeing big releases a week or two before the USA. The Avengers is one example.

Well, I'll be! It is indeed coming back, sooner than December (which, I guess, would be true of anything that does happen).
