I'll be getting a new video card and larger case to accommodate it and my brother will be building it when I visit 10-17 July. Any suggestions? My budget for case and video card is $500. Existing hardware is:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU 6300 @1.86 GHz
6 GB Ram
64-bit OS
NVIDIA Geoforce GT 240
Motherboard ??? (I don't where to find this)
Antivirus Software:
AVG
Microsoft Security Essentials

If you are going to keep the same motherboard have your brother look into a CPU processor upgrade if possible.

Friday's storm knocked out electricity to much of my area. It could be a week until we get it back. I'm currently at a friend's house posting this.
