At our highest count, we had forty guests at the party. Of course, people came and went so we know the count was higher for overall guests. So, thank you all! We had people riding our ferris wheel! We had people drinking and playing our carnival games! And of course, we had DJ Boss from ParagonBroadcasting to make the night a complete success.
So, thank you again. You guys were great.
[I know @TheMindfulFool posted this in the Father Henri Home thread but I thought it was important to have a title that could catch people's eyes just in case they missed it]
Our neighborhood is hosting a block party in honor of Etoile National Day! Businesses, apartments, and even the Home have decided to pool their resources to throw a small celebration for National Day. The road has been taped off and street vendors have begun setting up their trade! So come for the food. Come for the drink! Come for the music!
Be part of the neighborhood celebration.
When: Monday, June 25th at 9:30 PM Eastern Standard Time
Where: Meet at the base portal of Port Oakes
Activities Include:
* Live DJ from ParagonBroadcasting!
* Enjoying our Ferris Wheel... here is hoping it doesn't break down again.
* Food and Drink
* Carnival Games
Rules:
There are three simple rules that we ask everyone to follow.
1) No violence -- If you wish to fight, take it outside the base. This is a street fair. We don't need to halt the party because two people decided to throw down and create Rp for just themselves.
2) No sex -- Keep it PG-13, folks. This is a block party, not an orgy.
3) No Explosions/Stealing/Eating Orphans -- Simply put, the Orphanage is well protected and watched over.
