Build Request & Help: Claws/Ninjitsu Stalker
Spring attack doesnt break hide.
But caltrops and shockwave are pretty good powers.
I've got one of these, with a somewhat similar build as well. It's absolutely capable of soloing pylons and of getting really really close to the incarnate defense soft cap for melee and ranged attacks.
Just from skimming over your build...
You want the Stalkers Guile set in Assassin's Claw, and come the next issue you probably want the new damage set (the name escapes me at the moment) in Shockwave (turning that power into knockdown instead of knockback is going to be lovely).
I 4 slotted Ninja Reflexes and Danger Sense with LotG. The set bonuses seem worth it to me. Same for Weave and Maneuvers.
Not sure about the slotting for Kuji-in Sha, Hide, and Tough. In my current build, Hide got three slots for a LotG global, Kismet +Acc, and Karma -KB. Tough just got a couple of Aegis (if Im remembering correctly). Kuji-in Sha got three frankenslot heal/recharge but then take the Steadfast and Gladiators Armor +defenses.
Take this with a grain of salt, I don't consider myself to be a build-master. But that character is really hard to kill and solos easily at +4/x3-5 (I find that at x6 or more that defense cascade failures combined with the stacking debuffs make it harder than I usually like to play, but that's more about your preference).
Oh, regarding Kuji-in Retsu. I largely agree with you about its use when you've already got your defenses so high, but it's still got a place in my build as a panic button against large numbers of stacked debuffs. When you're fighting large groups of things like incarnate level Banished Pantheon it can come in very handy.

I have a lvl 50 Claws/Ninjitsu stalker (Prowling Pantheress), that has been sitting on the shelf for years now, that I'd love to play once again. Problem? Well, I'm not sure on how to slot her for I 23 now, and I don't know which powers are must haves and which are trash. I tried to come up with a build, following some builds that I saw on here, but I'm just having a *expletive* of a time doing so. I'm looking for softcapped Smash, Lethal, Melee, Ranged, and AoE defenses, and at least good Smash and Lethal Resistance. I'm also looking for good recovery and good regen (I like them to be pretty much even), and I'm looking for good endurance usage, something that isn't an endurance hog. Infamy isn't an issue, so Purples, PvP IOs, and ATOs are welcome in this build. I also want to mention, that I'd love for this build to be able to solo AVs and Pylons as well...if the combo is capable of doing so. So here is, my strange build, that is in need of guidance and repair. I don't much care for Swipe, Caltrops, Smoke Flash, Blinding Power, and I heard and think that Kuji in Retsu is pointless in a build that is already softcapped for defenses, or am I wrong? Besides, I hate powers that have an endurance crash after you use them. I went with fighting pool and leadership pools for the defense and resistance. Also, I'm not sure if I want to keep Shockwave or not (not crazy about powers that do knockback, as I hate chasing down stuff). I was thinking of maybe putting Spring Attack in place of it. Only concern? Does Spring Attack break hide, and how weird would my attack chain be with it? EDIT: I'M LOOKING TO USE THE NEW PANTHER STEAL POWER FOR MY TRAVEL POWER, FOR CONCEPT.
