I'm going to say "Well, YEAH".
The Roman chest piece is meant for skintight stuff. Period. If you're going to use baggy, you should EXPECT clipping.
Why they haven't locked out some of these things when using baggy? Dunno.
You say it never used to? I dunno about that. I think you're mis-remembering.

Well... you could say the same for the Samurai and Imperial Dynasty chest details and they do not clip. And no... it never used to clip because I remember making a costume inspired from this. He's wearing baggy. So, YEAH. My memory is fine thanks

Those are also large in the belly while the roman stuff is tight.
And NPCs get unique costume options that we don't/can't get.

It is by caffeine alone that I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning. It is by caffeine alone that I set my mind in motion.
I think I remember the roman chest piece working just fine for baggy.
Make the waist smaller. It'll stop clipping eventually. There are a ton of costume pieces that you have to tweak the scales on to stop clipping.

Just tried using this with the "Baggy" chest option and all chest options (Samurai, Imperial etc.) fit perfectly over the... jumper shall we call it. The two roman options clip straight through it. It never used to. Just pointing it out
