bind works on one toon, not another

I'm trying to use a bind, /bind w +forward$$powexecauto ", on a few different toons. Toon 1 was using it first then I decided it would work well on toon 2, but even though i'm copying/pasting it exactly as it's shown from /showbind I still can't get it to work on toon 2. I've tried adding underscores to powexecauto, i've tried enclosing +forward in quotations, i've tried capitalizing W but nothing seems to work. As soon as I type it in it clears the power I have auto'd, but not when I press the button like it needs to. I'm all out of ideas to get it to work, can anyone help me out?

Well, as entered above, you are missing a quotation mark... and there seems to be no power included after powexecauto.

Using [Hasten] as an example, it would look like this:
/bind w "+forward$$powexecauto Hasten"

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Have you tried typing the bind in manually INSTEAD of pasting it? It's possible that you picked up some invisible character like a tab or return that is messing it up. Also, as a note, there is never a time when adding an underscore will "fix" a bind. Underscores have no impact on how a command is parsed.

Thanks for the help! I didn't realize I was missing the starting quotation, pretty silly now that I stop and look at it.

I leave the end blank so it turns off Hasten and the like, since I don't have it perma'd it keeps it from going off while i'm running around before combat.

Thanks again!
