lost all my toons :(

wow, i logged in today and all but 2 of my toons on freedom are gone I have a idea what happened, but im not gonna throw accusations out here. My question is, can/will the devs roll my account back to a known good point? i have sent the e-mail to support but was just wondering if anyone knows the answer while I wait :/

I know they've rolled back accounts in the past when people have been hacked. It depends on what happened though... if on the other hand you simply got drunk and deleted them yourself? Much less likely.


(technically, the it'd be the GMs, not the Devs, that'd be doing any rolling back)

no, a "friend" told me about a cool website and i foolishly went and clicked on a link. What i got was a Trojan that keylogged me i think :/ so no i didnt give my account info to anyone

If that is indeed what happened, there should be some level of evidence that your account was accessed by a third party. You should stand a reasonable chance of getting your account rolled back.

Make sure to give support whatever details you can.

Also, run virus/malware scans to try to remove any malware, change all your passwords (especially email, NC Master Account, and game account). Be very careful though, since if you change the passwords and the malware is still on the system, they'll have all your passwords again.

For the future, remember to keep your browser and all plugins updated (especially Flash and Java... if you don't flat out disable Java)! That won't guarantee safety by any means, but it'll make it a whole lot harder for them.
