Benumb bug!

Hi,

See the reason why I bring this up for discussion is because I contacted support about an issue I have with benumb:

In-game when you type benumb and look under effects in pvp, you will see that it says beside the -dam, -regen and -special( decreasing the targets resistance vs mezz and a healing debuff).

Now here is my issue in-game it also states benumb should also give a -62.5% Tohit debuff on a corr. I have fought alot of cold corruptors and they don't even have the debuff effect irrc. I know DR kicks back the amount of debuffs but cancelling out the entire effect seems pretty weak since benumb is the best debuff of the entire set because of heatloss long recharge. On defenders benumb gives a -5% to your tohit.

Maybe this is just me but with the -tohitt other sets spam out like poison, dark miasma and radiation emission this seems pretty weak. I know benumb has multiple effects but so does the poison -tohitt debuff.

Any comments?

I have a comment

Benumb doesn't have a -tohit component :P

What you're seeing is -tohit 'strength'. You don't lower tohit at all, you only reduce the strength of powers like Tactics/Rage/Aim/Build up etc.

If you use this on someone without any tohit buffs, their tohit will not fall at all. If you use it with someone who has tohit buffs, their tohit buff strength will fall.

This is not a bug. Cold does not provide any -tohit.

Ah yeah that would explain the calculation of it then. Seems this is just a faint echo of a effect preI13 without diminishing returns.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
