I had Regent's Pizzeria in La Jolla in mind. They have a passable Chicago-Style Deep Dish.
Also, they have Polenta Fries. They take polenta, form it into square prisms, and deep fry it.
Haha. So now I have to drive down to SD and pay for a pizza.
