If you want to go with Dual Pistols, pick pain as your secondary and go for a support toon. That way you don't have to really bother much with your primary.
Outside of that.

Sonic - Fire - Rad / Therm
X/ Rad could work as well though If I was going rad, I'd go for a defender.
Sonic - Fire - Rad - Dark / Cold
Build for 1606 HP, 41 KB protection. Then as much recharge / acc as possible while slotting damage procs in your attacks.
Are you going to do arena or zone PvP? If you zone or arena PvP on teams then you can pick pistols as a primary attack and mainly focus on buffing or debuffing. If you are planning on doing 1 vs 1 then I think DP is not a good choice. I did not like my damage on my DP in PvP. IMO some of the things you need were mentioned above HP, Acc, Damage and KB protection. Another thing needed is an escape power in case you are the target for a spike or just running low on health and need a min to recover. The three types of escapes are Personal Force Field (Corr's do not get), Phase Shift or Hibernate. These are your "OH CRAP" button for when things get rough. I also like a self heal and click debuff. I really have trouble with toggle debuffs since they are easy to detoggle. I have been messing with the idea of making a Dark/Poison/Soul Corrupter. I will have a self heal, click debuffs, and power boost. You will not need all of the primary and secondary power so you will be able to squeeze in Phase Shift into the build and get leadership.

Alright, i've recently gotten into PVP, and now i'm looking to create a new corrupter character for PVP. Basically, what I want to know is what i'm trying to achieve with a PVP Corrupter. Like, what areas of the build should I be focusing on? Damage, defense, ect? Also, if i wanted to use something like Dual Pistols as a primary, what would be a good secondary? Would it even be a good idea?
Feel free to post up some corrupter pvp builds as well.
