Really, the only way I could see that happening is if they made Dark Affinity a powerset option for Defenders/Corrs/MMs, but if they did that, then I'm sure there'd be Trollers who wanted Dark Miasma.
It'd be a hell storm for the devs and people complained.

My quandary is this;
I love the two new powers in Dark Affinity.. But I also love Fearsome Stare on my Defenders/Corruptors..
I'd happily swap out Petrifying Gaze for either Fade or Soul Absorption, but parting ways with FS is a different story..
I would personally rather have Soul Absorption, as I find myself wishing for more End on my darkies more often than some more defense.. Though the Def Debuff Resists in Fade is oh so nice. (Seriously, isn't that the only team-Def buff in the game that also comes with Def Debuff Resistance?)
So what I'm getting at, turning DM into DAF is probably a bad idea. Lots of people love Fearsome Stare (Its not missed on Troller's as much, for obvious reasons).
Aren't we getting something resembling power balancing in i23? An iPowerTree where you choose from something to balance/boost your existing AT.

If Trollers had access to Fearsome Stare in their Secondary (thusly Dark Miasma) they'd do just as much debuffing and way more controll.
Now admittedly, I didn't see the reason to take out Petrifing Gaze for Trollers, and except for my Dark/Ice Defender, I've skipped it every time.
Also personally, those buffs lose a lot in how they work

well another solution would be to make sonic control 
I like Dark and sonic together for a defender, and itd be cool to have a sonic/dark troller
I thought it over a little... and i dont want Dark Miasma to change...

Im gonna make this short and sweet.
I would really love Fade and Soul Absorption on my dark miasma defender, and i feel like im not the only one. Suggestions to make this possible?
Oh yeah, another pet peeve of mine: different graphics for controller/defender Shadowfall than the really cool corruptor/MM one. Whys it like that?
