The question?

"What was I doing, and what was I drinking at the time?" (OK, that's two questions.)

I look at this build and wonder what directions I was going in. >.< Some things seem thrown in for the heck of it, some for utility (unbound leap +stealth,) and it's certainly incomplete.

But a vacation from the game = I have *no* idea where I was planning on going with this build. I do know way, way back, when the character was new, I was thinking "Regen shade, why not," and gave that up by ... mid 20s? 30?

Anyone feel like doing some repair? (Cheap repair. Character has 32 mill. Though I can do some transferring, a purple-heavy or otherwise rare/expensive build is out.) I *was* apparently planning on putting Stupefy (minus the KB proc) in Inky, as I have two crafted and three recipes. I seem to keep short-slotting possible recharge here. Only other requirement is "effective triform."

But quite seriously, I've been staring at this for about 20 minutes trying to figure out which way I was going. And if *I* can't - and I know my builds are odd.... Respeccing to shuffle some slots around is definitely happening, but I want a better plan before doing so this time.

Lots of simple stuff:

Gravitic Emanation should not be slotted for damage. It does less damage than Shadow Bolt. This is the power that should have your stupefy set.

Inky Aspect will be good with two slots, three tops. Two accuracy, one stun duration. The base stun duration is already 8 seconds and you'll be reapplying that every second you maintain contact. The endurance cost is 0.07, so slotting any reduction in it doesn't do much.

Black Dwarf Antagonize no longer needs accuracy because it's autohit. Drop that slot and leave just the recharge.

I'd completely drop the slots from Dark Nova Bolt. You'd see more use out of those slots by adding them to Black Dwarf Mire and Sunless Mire. I'd add two recharge and an endurance reduction to Black Dwarf Mire. Sunless Mire could use another Recharge.

I'd remove the Endurance Mod from Eclipse and change that to another Recharge. That will take another twenty seven seconds away from its recharge value.

Dark Nova blasts don't need two accuracy enhancements each because Dark Nova provides that 9% tohit buff. Swapping those out for recharge would probably be best.

Ahh, mornings. At least I have being half asleep still to blame for my "Huh?" You're looking at the second, SO build... (and yes, I tend to double-acc by default. It's a habit, partly from PVPing on SOs way back when.) It's the first one that'll have you going "Er... yeah, don't drink that again."

However, that will be tweaked - as I tend to like to see just what can be done on SOs (or mostly-SOs) when possible.

Edit: But I think I do recall why I have some weird slotting on the SO build (like a single Posi blast here or there.) Some are just "only one slot needed" items (+stealth, f'rinstance.) Others are kind of "build plan cliff notes." And others... still make no sense. *shrug*

I prefer gravity well over Essence drain grav well is a lot stronger and a bigger hit - allows you to one shot minions to blow em up with Unchain essence (which I think needs some more slots)
