Looking for this MOV

First off, yes I know this is normally meant for the multi-media section but that section is almost completely dead as I think most of the people who used to post there are free/premium now and my last attempts at seeking help went unanswered, so...


I'm looking for the demo command for a specific MOV.

The motion is like when you jump out of a truck and are looking around. Its also like when you do the "/e peerin" emote, but instead of looking inside, its just the part where you are looking side to side.

The difference also is, I need the demo file that works when holding a weapon. Specifically the duel wielding hand guns.

I'm really hoping someone can help me as I am on the final scene of my issue 9 of my comic.

It's been awhile but I'm pretty sure all you have to do is demorecord yourself drawing your weapons and then doing any emote. replace your emote with EK's Danger Sense and then you'll need to find and remove FXdestory. Fxdestroy is going to be listed between the weapons draw and the emote. ONce FXdestroy is removed all emotes will work with weapons drawn.

If that don't make sense I can go into more detail.

Hmmm... best I could find was this:

I did the Alakazamreact and hit the pistols and the character very briefly does a bit of that move while holding the pistols out...
However, there was no special MOV command for it...
Just the MOV and then it had a string for the pistols in FX commands.

Yep, that looks about right. I didn't realize/remember that the pistols work off of FX commands, to be honest.
That could make life a bit easier, eh?

It might work sometimes but unfortunately, the code is fickle and simply removing the fxdestroy command doesn't always fix my problems lol.

I am also partially in shock at getting 5 replies already. So I have to ask, are the two of you VIP or unpaid accounts?

And yeah, I was just messing with editing these files to create a guy doing that MOV with the guns out... and it's not been working. Even though the original one that I took did work.

If it works for you... try going in and doing the ALAKAZAMREACT emote, hit the guns while as the object and see if you can get something from it.

You are right... the beast is sometimes fickle...
Either that or I am missing something, hehe...

Anyway, was just patrolling and putting off doing something afk and saw your post. I know how it gets trying to finish up a project, so I figured I'd try and save you a few brain cells, hehe.

I have certain problems with the demo file itself. I normally use Balshor's demo editor. I'm used to it now after years of use. But my SG base which I recorded the demo in, is so massive that the editor actually corrupts the file if I use it.
As such, I have to go in manually, using the editor as a filter of sorts. The coding is different I find it. There is no time numbering which I am used to. I can't simply retake the demo either. The shot is part of two frames. Same camera angle and position, only this one character changes his MOV.

The color of their name indicates subscription status, btw. Cat puke tan for VIP, white for free/preemie.

You can also click on their name - if they have the option to PM them, they are VIP; otherwise, free/preemie.
