Finding invisible base items

With the new hacked teleporters I was able to delete all the teleporters in one room with the idea of deleting the room. So I try and delete it and cannot, says there is an item in the room, I don't see anything except a built up column in corner that I also cannot change the height of. The stats on the room say there is 1 teleporter in the room, unless it is buried in the column I don't see it. So how do I delete it when I cannot select it. Thanks for any help.

First, there are 4 buttons in the edit (item) bar. One of them says "current room".
Use that button to see all the items in the room, and you can select and "sell" (delete) them from the bar.

Second, you can try scrolling your camera out very far, then angling it to see your base from the underside. This will often show things that have accidentally gotten stuck inside the walls.

If something's stuck in a wall, you can also use the Tab key to toggle between items in a room. Once you've got the invisi item selected, then you can simply hit the Delete key and be done. If there's something keeping you from deleting a room, then it's likely a crafted item as the editor will let you delete a fully formed room so long as all the items didn't come from a character's personal crafting pouch.

what kat said...current room is also handy when suddenly an item you were trying to place, or adjust simply dissappears...click current room and scroll all the way to the end of the list...then hover from room to room until you find the annoying li'll sucker...then sell...which is the easiest course of action...or go through the angst of dragging said item back to the room you want it in...
