Talon-ify Your Heroes

Granted, this works best for characters who are basically human to start, but create a version that has been corrupted by the Talon of Vengeance force.

I assume, of course, given the power level of people dealing with the Talons, that even Talon-ified, they're still operating more on their own will than the Talons, but eh:

Anyway: Tender Bar

Natural, surpasses human limits despite no discernible magic, genetic oddity, mutation or technology. She simply gets angry and things break:

Tender Bar Talonified (went Griffin-ish...but considered Minotaur...what can I say, I like wings and didn't want to do harpy given the Knives and Talons do that):

As if Oougel weren't enough of an eldritch abomination already... she's a hybrid human/Rularuu escaped product of mad science.

I think that, if she ever deigned to join the Talons (which she wouldn't, she doesn't need their help to punish the guilty :P), the Talon version would be a claws/WP stalker instead of a fortunata.

Very cool!

and yeah, I went with one of my "humans" myself....as to Eldritch Abominations...I do have my two "Undevoured" characters: Blood Rose and Fallen Petal

not looking it so much as joining the Talons as much as it seems to be a semi-contagious magical transformation

in fact I like using the Talonified version versus the Talons and imagining the "Isn't she supposed to be on our side now?"

My other two characters that I play with any regularity weren't working for it... one's an ill/rad troller and the change would have rendered her a completely different character so I figured what's the point, and the other is, well, a man.

Besides, Oougel was fun

I remembered the Oracles and Prophetesses and suddenly it got a lot easier to think of my controller as a Talon. The Illumineer is a particle physicist whose weapon is light - not in the sense of lasers, more in the sense of mind-control rays (this is comic-book land!). I think the Talon version would probably be a Mind/Energy dom.

The dilemma of not being able to put bird feet with a skirt resolved itself when I remembered the lower-level bosses in the First Ward, some of whom wear boots.

yeah, that came out fairly well....kind of a Valkyrie thing to her, I see you remembered the little soul patch tattoo that I forgot...also like the use of the roman greaves and the reptillian skin tone under the victorian skirt

my brute's SS/Will, which think works fine for a griffon-ish Talon-ified force of nature

I gave it a try! I thought it would kinda neat to try the what-if Talon corruption on my atypical Roman, Lucia Volusa/Mind of Minerva; a Broadsword/Shield Brute.

Under the corruption of the Talons...

Lucia takes up a hood, of course. As wings sprout from her back, she drops her breastplate and scaled skin shows from behind her tights. More importantly, she casts aside her shield for a second gladius sword, as a Dual Blades/Invulnerability Brute. Any remaining armor holds for some distinction and perhaps some vague sentimental value.

Rather than emulating the soul patch tattoo using Technis, I thought it would be more interesting to bend the rules a bit and use Roman as her facial markings, reflecting the nature of her being.
