a graphical question
Please don't think I'm trying to bust your balls. This actually belongs in the Gameplay/Technical issues forum.
But here we go anyhoo.
A couple problems.
- You'd probably need to upgrade the power supply too.
- Your case is also somewhat...cramped. So you might have trouble putting in more powerful (and larger) video card.
You could PROBABLY go to something like a GTX 550 (vs your 520), but the performance bump isn't going to be all that huge.
Bumping to a GTX460 would give you a nice performance bump, but you have the issues I talked about above, plus you have to "stretch" your budget about $20 ($140 for the card and about $10 for shipping).
I really hesitate to suggest an AMD card as well. Mostly due to the driver issues AMD suffers from. The AMD crowd will probably swear up and down that it's not THAT bad, but I find playing "driver roulette" to be a pain in the cojones. And not something I want to "recommend" to anyone.

I can understand wanting something better NOW. But a little patience keeps you from spending a bunch of extra money in the long run.
Honestly Hyper, going from a GT 520 or 9500GT to a GTX 550Ti wouldn't be much of an improvement? "Whatcha talkin bout Willis", it's not like he's running a single core Pentium 4 and he's only running at 1024x768 as well.
As for the PSU, well it is listed as 30 Amps at 12 volts, assuming they aren't lying about it it's reasonably big enough for the cards in his price range. Still off brand doesn't give me the warm fuzzies but with his budget I don't envision a PSU transplant and a video card.
I PMed him last night about this and totally forgot to mention the AMD "driver roulette" problem, but I figured he was an nVidia man anyways.

But that's just me.
Hey, I have a question. i want to know what is the best card i can get for this game. i currently have a geforce 520 i recently got and only found out before it arrived that it wasnt really better than the 9500 gt i had been using for like ages. to bummed to send it back i installed it anyways and currently using it.
with that said, im not looking to spend huge amounts of money, ideally anything between 50 to 130 dollars is my limit which would include shipping.the only reason i have the card i have now is because of the nvidia website, i did the card comparison thing with the options i checked off and it was the card they suggested >_>;;
ideally i want to have 30 fps or better with ultra mode on. i current get anywhere from 15 to 24 fps . my monitor only has a max rez of 1024. as far as my rig is concerned mine has the following.
DiabloTek CPA-0280 Elite ATX Mid Tower Case - ATX, Micro ATX, 450W PSU, 2x Ext 5.25", 1x Ext 3.5", 2x Int 3.5", 2x USB 2.0 Front Ports, Black
AMD HDT35TWFGRBOX Phenom II X6 1035T Processor - Six Core, 6MB L3 Cache, 3MB L2 Cache, 2.60GHz (3.10GHz Max Turbo), Socket AM3, 95W, Fan, Retail
Biostar A880GU3 AMD Motherboard - Micro ATX, AMD 880G Chipset, 1600MHz DDR3 (O.C.), SATA 3.0 Gb/s, RAID, ATI Radeon HD 4250, 6-Channel Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, HDMI
the os is win 7 home premium 64bit
and i have 8 gigs of ram.
if anyone can give me a good suggestion based off my pricing that would be great
