I've wanted to go back for my Masters, but I quite simply don't have the patience for it. Nor the desire to cut back on my busy (and well-paying) work schedule.

Baha, indeed. Alien and I did it very sporadically at about one in the morning the other night. We started it off by derping it and coincidentally doing the first mission on +3. It wasn't planned at all and no proper strategy was formulated... We ended up using lore, and I hit Rom in the face with some envenomed daggers, so no bragging ensued. It was still fun though- I have my Brute on Virtue, so send me a tell next time you're on and you feel like doing something.
Just had my first Master's degree class this evening, and this is what it was like:
"Ok, you got 4 books for textbooks... Go home, read 3 chapters from each, look through this list of 100 possible thesis topics, pick one, find an article on it, read it, write a paper on that, go to this website: http://www.socialresearchmethods.net/kb/contents.php, memorize that, write a paper in APA format on Research Methods Terminology based on that website, and find a game developer that you'd like to write about and do research on him and write a biography on him."
"Oh, and that's partially due by tonight at 1am, and the other portion is due day after tomorrow."
I don't plan on actually taking a break from gaming (least of all City of Heroes), but after today's wakeup call, I doubt you'll see me in the game much, and if you do, it'll probably be at really weird times...lol
I should be done in a year though, and then hopefully I'll be able to finish pursuing my dream by getting a job in the gaming industry!
