Welcome back Comrade to Virtue! And yes! You can change sides no matter what AT you are! The special ones just have to wait till 20 before they can switch sides though. The rest have a choice at the very begining.

changing sides depends on account. are you gold or silver ( I think silver have to buy going rogue to change sides but not sure)
