I have been working on this all morning, and I cannot see a way to softcap all positional defense using Agility core Alpha...but here's what I am looking to accomplish...

(1) softcapped positional defenses, (I am totally ok with using Divine Avalanche to make melee work...)

(2) Enough global recharge to get hasten perma...(8 seconds away...argh!)

(3) I want to leave Lotus Drops in the build...

(4) I am open to suggestions that involve reslotting/changing CoF or OG...as I am getting somewhat the results I want from these powers, but it's just not what I would like it to be...in conjunction they are far better than one or the other though, I will certainly concede that...

(5) The PVP sets are only in here because I thought it would help me achieve my goal, but I am still failing in that respect...so they can go if you think it helps...

I am open to suggestions...maybe this can't be done...but I expect somebody somewhere with a fresh set of eyeballs will see something less intelligent I did and overlooked...

You're 6-slotting obsidian shield but underslotting maneuvers, weave, and cloak of darkness. Does not compute.

Underslotting Manuevers, Weave, Cloak of Darkness? You're talking about taking a lot of slots away from sets adding defense bonuses elsewhere to chase capping ED across 3 powers...

So you would remove what from where to add slots to these toggles without hurting my overall defense numbers?

Personally, if I'm in a bind for slots, I'll go lotg + 2 cyto on defense toggles. You'd gain 1.7%def by doing so. Up to you. You definitely could use some endurance reduction in maneuvers whatever you do.

Why is miracle in DR btw? Would be better off throwing it in health and adding the theft of essence proc to DR instead.

That's a trick I started trying on my dm/da brute and it actually negates the hefty end cost...I could put theft proc in and likely get similar results but miracle fires more often it seems...maybe that's just my luck as I haven't run any sort of official numbers. So 2 cytos + lotg rech? I may try that in mids tomorrow and look at some numbers...

Everything I would have told you is covered in it. It was pre-I19, but the vast majority of the information is still valid. The BotZs are even still useful, but I don't lean as heavily on them as I did before the nerf.

I used full sets of Eradication in my AoEs for the ranged and AoE defense (the extra HP is nice too)

Mako's Bite in my single targets, and Aegis in my armors. I used no purples at all anywhere in the build, and my melee is over soft-cap with 2 Parry, ranged is softcapped at all times, and AoE is sitting at 43.9%, which is close enough you would never notice a difference.

I used Cardiac.
