That was pretty cool that they were able to take the art from the books and turn them into a CG animated video. As I recall most of those ships were only shown one per page so it wasn't like they had much source material to work with. The video reminded me a lot of the space scenes of Babylon 5.

I loved the Terran Trade Authority books
when I was a kid. Lots of pictures of space ships with interesting designs. And now some guy has recreated the pictures in one of the books as a 3D animation! Check out his video!
