When you're on a team and you perform a Morality Mission for the team leader, it will clear out all your tips even though you are not at your maximum daily limit of tips and you couldn't change alignments since you're not at 10/10 for that alignment.
I was playing a hero who wanted to become a Vigalante. I had done no tips at all and was at 0/10 Vig Tips. I saw someone doing a LFM for Vig tip missions, so I joined. While I was on the team, I had collected 3 tips and got to 4/10 Vig Tips (thus 4/5 daily tips). I didn't realize that the team leader had selected a morality mission and I wasn't worried about it if I had known. At the end of the mission, the team leader logged out and I wanted to do one of my tips to get to my 5/5 for the day and 5/10 for my alignment change. I was surprised that I had no tips available.
Doing someone else's morality mission SHOULD NOT delete all your tips UNLESS you use that mission to change your alignment (I don't know if you can, or it has to be your morality mission).
