Hello,

I could use some advice to tweak my build for PVE. I have a little bit of endurance problems and not sure how to get my defense soft capped. I don't want Aid Self because I hardly need health, and when I do I have Rebirth or I just pop a green. I had Focus Chi for a little while but I never used it, so I got rid of it.

I'm interested in a PVP build as well. I understand I won't be awesome, but it would be nice to hold up a little bit while out badge hunting.

Thanks!

First of all, you don't need that many slots in Elude. Unenhanced Elude soft-caps your defense already, so all you really need there is recharge - if you actually want to keep the power at all. (It can be useful for PVP, in Incarnate Trials, when you need an endurance boost, or when you're no longer softcapped for being exemplared down to level 33 or higher, but once your chara reaches the defense softcap, you'll use Elude very rarely.)

You can move one slot from Elude to Health and Stamina. The Performance Shifter proc avoids diminishing returns and on average offers more endurance per second than the first lv. 50 IO, so you could very well use a second copy here. For Health, I'd recommend a Numina's Reconvalescece +Heal/+Recovery, or, if you have the resources, a Miracle: +Recovery. This should take care of your endurance problems.

You didn't slot Energy Torrent, so I assume you're not relying too much on that power. Maybe you could replace it with Combat Jumping? That power costs almost no endurance to run, slightly increases your defense, and could even take a special IO (like the Kismet +ToHit or a Luck of the Gambler: +Recharge) later on.

There are some set bonuses for positional defense, but since Super Reflexes can softcap without the need for defense set bonuses, I wouldn't use set bonuses for defense but build for something else, like recharge.

Finally, if you don't mind the cost (or the effort to earn all those hero merits), an easy way to get more defense is putting the PVP +3% defense IO in Tough. (Note that the bonus will be active even if you are not actually using Tough.)

Pretty much.

I took the liberty of playign around with your build and making it softcapped. Might have some end issues for a bit, if they persist look into Cardiac Alpha or Muscular Radial.

I would drop Foucused Accuracy; unless you PvP alot you won't need it. Instead slip in Focus Chi; it can use the same set and it'll buff your attack, and be MUCH easier on your blue bar.

Ok, I switched out Focused Accuracy with Focus Chi. Does the level 40 enhancement benefits really out weigh level 50 enhancements? I would like to have my attacks to have quite a punch to them too.

Generally speaking your getting them for the set bonuses. In terms of raw stats the 50s tend to be better.

If it bothers you then look into Enhancement Boosters, assuming you can get/afford them. A level 40 Enhancement boosted to +5 will be much more competitive.
