TW has the potential to eat through a lot of endurance very quickly, with its powers that are not particularly cheap and activate quickly. This is somewhat overhyped as the set's weakness, so many people choose /elec since it's the ultimate answer to endurance problems. Defensive Sweep also stacks nicely on top of /elec's resists.
It's hardly the only good combo, though. /EA, /WP, /Regen, and /Fire also have tools to help with the endurance costs, and really, any secondary is perfectly usable (except SD, obviously) with intelligent building.
TW is a very strong set overall, with a def buff and a lot of knockdown, so it will combine pretty well with any secondary. I've seen more people posting about /elec than other secondaries, but in-game I've seen more /WP and /fire.
I'd been wanting an excuse to try Energy Aura since they made changes to the set earlier this year, so when Titan Weapons was announced I figured that was a good enough reason.
My character is only level 25, but I'm really enjoying the pairing so far. Prior to 22, endurance was definitely a concern. With my current slotting it's only an issue when I get a few waves of ambushes, even with the recharge boost from Entropic Aura. I don't yet have the Performance Shifter proc or Energy Drain, so I expect even that's a short-term "problem."
Hopeling, part of it is that Elec really tackles everything that a TW player needs, when you want a set that has a damage aura - and that's extremely appealing.
A little recharge bonus thrown into a set with unlimited endurance is pretty nice, and TW adds a little defense to a set that has none.
WP really is pretty much the best one as there is nothing a TW/WP can't do well, but if you want a damage aura, Elec is pretty much the best choice....
HOWEVER at the time it was being evaluated, not everyone knew that during Momentum there is no redraw. I think if we give it time, we will see plenty TW/FA shortly.

TW/FA is sah-weet. As mentioned above, redraw is not much of a problem. I haven't gotten mine incarnated quite yet, but right now, it seems it will at least be equal to my SS/FA, and very likely will surpass it.
I see a lot of TW/Elec, but I'm wondering about the synergy that TW has with other sets. Is there any reason Elec is picked over something like WP? What do other sets have that works well with TW?
