The next major update should have what you are looking for. Dark Astoria will get revamped and become a solo or small group incarnate area. Rewards will not be as great as the iTrials but better then just running missions.

The regular Incarnate Trials are great for teams of 16, or 24, or more. It is great for getting lots of Incarnate threads quickly. Because I am living in the middle east, I am not often online at the same time as many North American players....so I wind up soloing a lot.
I would like to see some with a max of maybe 4 players. Something an Incarnate could solo, and get a decent reward. Spending an hour doing missions and getting 1 thread is discouraging.
I am not a numbers guy, but I am sure there is a good balance between missions that provide a decent reward, and something players would exploit.
