Does a PB play differently than a WS?

I should max out my WS tonight, and I'll be honest, I've enjoyed the ride far more than I would have even though. I can see myself playing this toon for some time to come, but I got to wondering about a PB. Do they play differently, or are they basically the same? If they do, how so?

Thanks in advance.

Warshades and Peacebringers are very different creatures. Peacebringers are more "contained," in that they don't rely on enemies for buffs or heals. They perform at a steady rate, never shining excessively at any given moment, whereas Warshades shine most against large groups of enemies. Peacebringers have significantly less control available to them, and more "brute force," in a sense.

In a nutshell, playing a Peacebringer is like playing an Energy Blaster with a secondary comparable to watered-down Super Strength and the potential for ungodly survivability. Playing a Warshade is like... Well, playing a Warshade. There's really nothing to compare it to.

Firstly:

  • PBs are self reliant, and a good handful of their human form powers are clones from the forms
  • PBs play alot like a blaster, with two self heals, resistance shields, and two powerful forms (nova + Dwarf)
  • They're fun for solo play, because they rely on themselves

Warshades:
  • Play on an entirely different level if built correctly
  • Their strength/buffs come from the enemies around them, so to the more enemies you have the more buffs u can get through your powers (Mire, Eclipse, Circle, Fluffies)
  • If you pay through the nose to get around 160-170% global recharge, with hasten active they can have permenantly capped resistances (around 85%)
  • A Warshade without this type of build plays much better on a team, because the first strike isn't aimed directly at you.

In my opinion, warshades are an overall better AT, but they're hard to get the hang of. Peacebringers are an easy introduction to Kheldians; I'd reccomend them first if youre just dipping your toes into the Kheldian pool

A PB has the potential to play quite differently than a Warshade, but then again, a PB has the potential to play quite differently than other PBs.

I have a Triform Warshade and a Triform PB. Because of the way I have them built, I play them in a very similar fashion. Frankly, I generally feel like the most powerful person on my team regardless of which one I am using and at which level (mission or difficulty) we are playing.

Generalities, are generally true (feel free insert comment about truism here), and as such, I desire not to detract from my friends comments, it's just that, well...

When one uses a Kheldian he/she steps into a seemingly endless ocean of possibilities. There is fun to be had while sailing along the surface. There is merry to be made while moving amongst the shallows. There is unparalleled pleasure to be found within its depths.

Progressing as these powerhouses, pursuing their peak performance, perceiving the particular playstyle that you prefer and then perfecting your proficiency with these paragons is, I tell you, purely poetic.

And the proof, my precious pals, is, as they say, in the pudding.

A perplexingly profuse placement of "P's".
