Depends what you're soloing. My team build BR/Rad can take out AV's and GM's rather efficiently however lacks the consistent aoe that a DP/Rad has available for taking out 8 man spawns. What's better? Dunno.
I'd personally pick Beam Rifle, but that's more because of an intense dislike for Dual Pistols.

Beam will do better damage overall, thanks to disintegrate and scourge. And DP, while flashy, really just boils down to a weaker DPS.
For AoE DP is superior than Beam. While I welcome the focus of a single target set like Beam, the game is AoE centric thus I would choose DP over Beam for a new player IMVHO.
now i wanna try corruptor! but im struggling on which of these 2 is more effective when it comes to Soloing... BEAM/RAD or DP/RAD? help me which one should i take, any advice and opinions are quitely appreciate! thanks!
