Spectral Interface?

A big problem I have with my MM is mobs run away, pets chase them, they die. Or they die and bring another room full of mobs back to me.

Then I notice the Spectral Interface has an immobilzation proc. Lowest is 2%, highest is 10%. I know my pets can set off that proc.

So I find myself wondering, as a Necro/Dark, is it worth getting the Spectral for the immob and DoT or stick with the Diamagnetic I have, for that -tohit stacking I have going on?

The -tohit is nice, boss and EB fights, after a few applications, they can't even hit my zombies, but more damage is never bad, and the immob is really appealing.

But is that 10% chance or less enough, in combination with my pets, for me to rely on it?

Not at all- You'd be far better off getting either one of the Patron Pool AoE Immobilizes or Dropping a Razzle Dazzle Immobilize Proc in Howling Twilight.

Yeah, I've got the soul tentacles, but they only ever seem to hit one or two enemies, even in a big crowd.

Soul tentacles is a cone attack, so it's best used if you're not in the middle of the group but outside it, maybe have a range enhancement in there also. Web envelope is a better attack in that respect if you ever decide to switch to mace.

Well, MM is probably the best for Interface. Why don't you give it a try and let us know if you can notice any meaningful difference?

10% from each pet and yourself. That's 10% x 7 for alpha.

You also get negative damage proc so that's more damage.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
