Is there a keybind to switch between two sets of graphic settings?

As in, fully two custom sets of settings? Or a standard and a custom? Or some other way that doesn't involve monkeying with sliders nd switches every time you are out of something too FX-intensive for your card on your usual settings?

Set up your options the way you like the first one to be.
/optionsavefile options1

Set up your options the way you would like the second one to be.
/optionsavefile options2

When you want to switch between them, type
/optionloadfile options#

If you change window size, color, or opacity, you'll want to do
/wdwsavefile wdw1 for the first one
/wdwsavefile wdw2 for the second one
and then to load them:
/wdwloadfile wdw#
please note that if you like having custom window colors/placement for individual characters this will not work.

Doesn't work for me. /optionsavefile saves everything except graphics settings. I checked the contents of the file too, - only UI settings are there. So, what am I doing wrong?

Uuhhhmmm....I have no idea. I have to /optionloadfile between playing normally and dual-boxing, and it all works properly.

I wonder if, ages ago, I went in and manually put in the graphics changes in the options files. I honestly have no recollection.

It's cheap and boring, but the thing I usually do is just type /vis_scale 0 if I'm having lag problems. What this command does is greatly lower the 'draw distance', which means that things only load fully when you're closer to them. This alone will usually speed up my game significantly. To get it back to normal just type /vis_scale 1. If you want *greater* draw distance than the default, type /vis_scale 2.

I already set visscale fairly low even on otherwise high settings. If only there was slash command to lower the # of particles... But I couldn't find one on PW.
