Claw/Elec AV Soloer.
I'm thinking this:
- 45% to non-psionic non-toxic
- sustainable endurance
- good attack chain
- as much resistance as you can practically get your hands on
- as many hit points as you can practically get your hands on
- high-recharge well-slotted Energize

Alright. I made a few changes to the build I had originally...but it's still not up to the specifications you posted, Werner. Maybe I need to drop some powers and pick up others, but I'm not sure which ones to change. Shockwave, maybe? What is a good attack chain for a claws? FU -> Eviscerate -> Slash -> Focus?

I've soloed most AVs on a DB/invul with 33% S/L/E/N/F/C before we had access to incarnates.
By which I'm trying to say, even if we assume you're not using any incarnate slot beyond Alpha, your build is much superior than the one I had, and player skill doesn't play much of a part as the gist of the encounter is standing still and going through the same motions, so I don't think you should run into trouble soloing AVs.
What is a good attack chain for a claws? FU -> Eviscerate -> Slash -> Focus?
|
The chain I run is FU->Slash->Focus->Strike. The DPS isn't quite as high as the first one I mentioned, but it would be enough to take out an AV.
Interestingly, if you have enough recharge to run the second chain, you also have enough to chain FU-Spin-Eviscerate for some nice AoE damage.

I'm sure it can be done, but can you guys give me a hint as to what my build goals should be? I have a build right now with 32.5% defense to S/L/E/N and about 50% recharge, but I'm sure that's not enough. Any of the scrapper gurus out there mind tossing a newbie to this type of thing some advice?
