Has anyone tried to solo a TF / SF ?

Just wondering if anyone has tried soloing a TF or SF. I am thinking ITF would be a prime candidate.

Just wondering if you would have to go the old way of killing off the nictus first or going straight for Rom. I would assume the Nictus would heal off the pets as well.

I don't really know I'm just tossing ideas around. I have about 8 or 9 toons I would like to try this out with, but my Robot Trap MM would be the first consideration.

I solo classic posi back in the day of it, it can be done, but not all TF can be solo, Like the Dr.Q, which need at lease four players, so they can click the glowies all at once.

Why would you go for Rom? I see most people doing that and assumed it was just ignorance.

If you kill the nictus, any splash damage you do on the other nictus and Romulus is useful. If you aim for Romulus, he consumes a nictus at his death, negating AoE damage dealt to one of the nictus. Even on teams with low AoE output, going for nictus first makes more sense as you can remove the healing one first and hence kill faster.

The one downside I can see is that if your team is fast enough you will end up with 2-3 stacks of the rez stun, and given the amount of players with an irrational hatred for inspirations, you better hope there's at least one person with antimez buffs.

The reason you want to go for rommy instead of the nictus, is due to the fact the nictus has 100% resistance to ALL debuffs. Nothing affects them debuff wise. Only thing that brings them down fast is a kin, spamming fulcum, due to damaging capping everyone.

Rommy on the other hand, has normal AV resistance (85% i think) meaning most things affect him, and tear him up much easier then the nictus. That's why people burn him down quickly. Plus the autohit Nictus dies first when rommy rez'es making every ones life that much easier.
